    Thanks Rose :)
I'm struggling to talk about things at the moment - probably cos I feel so guilty that I'm ill.
At least OH is starting to realise now that I am actually ill and not just miserable and lazy.
    Thinking of you xxx

I know it's hard but don't feel guilty about being ill. You wouldn't neccessarily feel guilty about having flu or something similar.

Struggling to talk is a common problem with this illness - it's something I've experienced many times. Sometimes I don't think words exist to explain how painful it is. When you are feeling really low all your brain power is being used to torment yourself with painful feelings and so it's difficult to say anything at all.

Ironically one of the things you need to do is to let some of the pain out. Sure it can be very hard and painful to do but it does help.

Distraction can also help. I was very bad at the weekend and was getting really desperate so I called my best friend. The conversation was virtually silent from my end for the first hour, it took me 5 minutes to manage to answer 'no' when she asked me how I was. Anyway, she talked to me for a bit about how things would get better and eventually the conversation drifted onto talking about her bairn. This actually helped because it gave me something to focus on other than the negative thoughts. I also know from experience that nothing can peneratrate the strong negative thoughts and pain.

Glad to hear your OH is starting to realise you are ill. :) That should make things at least a little easier.

Hope this hasn't been too hard to read and has provided some comfort.

As for me, a little tired and nervous about tonight - need to relax before I go out. 'R' did text to say sorry and she'd been busy. Just trying to think of some future places to take her. Just hope it goes well tonight.

I know it hurts so much and it's confusing but keep on fighting (I know that can be very hard) - it will get better. Just keep fighting, even if it's just to keep a mad Geordie happy ;)

fg, please never feel guilty about being ill. It is nothing to feel guilty about - talk as much or as little as you need. We're all in the same boat hun, trying to survive. Keep going, we'll make it there. xxx

    So..............'S' has cancelled

We have re-arranged for Saturday.......until she cancels that too

Spoke on phone for 5 mins or so, i'm slightly annoyed that these appointments that she cancels me for are so random......different things everytime, but not 1 thing, but 3 or 4 things she forgot about

I'm starting to get an inferiority complex!
