Had a bit of a low today, me and hubby had an argument over something stupid and I got upset and said something I shouldn't have. Turned out OK in the end, but I admit I harmed afterwards when I thought I had hurt him emotionally, I hate the thought of hurting him.
Everything is OK now though
hi bunnie
argh kill bill, that would have me running, lol

:hello: Hi everyone - hope this Sunday morning finds you well. At least we all seem to have survived Friday the 13th!
I'm dreading Halloween - firstly, around 14,000 children banging on my door, dressed in the nastiest things they can find, demanding sweets or money,(so I'll have to mortgage my other kidney to afford them), dressed as every horror character ever created.
My DS will be out with his own friends and as they're all new college performing arts students, they are bound to look like extras from the Hammer House of Horror films! Not only that, but at the start of the day I'll get up and be forced to look in the mirror!!! :rotfl: Oh and we must not forget all the fireworks that will be let off between now and the middle of January - it's like the Blitz all over again -and no, I wasn't around at that time!:p
Last year, I handed out to a few trick or treaters but when it hit 6.30pm, I stopped answering the door. Knocking kept on though. See, the little devils (no pun intended) communicate with each other, scouting out and informing the rest of them about where the sweets and money came from!
I answered the door saying 'I'm sorry, I've got nothing left - there were gangs of you earlier on - would you like a piece of fruit?'
You should have seen the looks on their faces - FRUIT?!!! It was like I'd tried to poison them!:rotfl:
Anyway - more later - tired TiffsterPosting re. guided meditation as requested and Bunnie - I haven't forgotten about the benefits advice either.
Thanks to Rose for your kind words angel - we are privileged to be among such kind souls aren't we?;) Thanks guys,
Much love,

Hi everyone:)
My day yesterday
Went for a drive yesterday. It was really sunny and pretty warm for mid October.
The traffic was busy and it makes me jumpy. There are some idiots out there. We had an minor accident on holiday in 1983 and ever since I have been a jumpy passenger.
We test drove a car yesterday which was nice. Need to think it over. My mum is contributing a certain amount. She bought my son a new car, so only fair I get something too:)
Went to a distillery and had lots of whisky - we bought a bottle for Christmas. They were taking about whisky to invest. I might post on another board asking about that.
When we got home the people behind were having a dinner party. Normally, I don't worry but they are the ones with the chavvy 20something aged psycho 'children'. They made some noise when they went out into the courtyard but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but given their past behaviour, I don't trust them, so couldn't relax till 4am.
I put a whole chicken in the slow cooker and the meat just fell off. Had fun sieving out all the grotty bits but it made a yummy satay thai curry. Had some free sample pilau rice with it. It was great. Shall have a chicken and mushroom casserole tomorrow. Son eats with us Monday and Tuesday, so like to do nice food for him.
We saved heaps yesterday. We made cheese olive rolls, had some Lidl shortbread (the best!), and low fat crisps for our packed lunch that we ate in the distillery car park. We still had the taste of whisky in our mouth, so the shortbread was extra yummy in the highland air.
We tried to eat in our fav Italian restaurant but it was full, so we got some chicken kebabs from a takeaway and cobbled something together at home with it.
Not eating out paid for the petrol. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning Tiffster! Awww thanks for your kind words, but it's just good chatting with you guys - you're such a nice bunch of people:A
Well there's a bit of creaking in Saz World this morning... I'm a bit stiff after yoga yesterday!!But apart from that not too bad. Think I need another cup of tea. I was so chuffed yesterday because after a year of trying I finally managed to make my first ever loaf of sourdough bread! :j All with the help of folk on the OS board - so I had to post on there to let them know. LOL you must think I'm weird getting so excited over bread, but... well, y'know, little things.....!

:rotfl: :rotfl: I laughed so much when I read that. I'm amazed they actually knew what fruit was!
Have a good day Tiff, and all you good folk. Sazxx4 May 20100 -

Hi
I know what you mean about Halloween. We thought we would be inundated with them but got none the last two years. PMSL at the fruit, I'm surprised they didn't throw it at you or your property (I don't like kids much - heartless, scary little things:eek:)
I am surprised I haven't heard any fireworks - yet, give it time.
I'm going away that weekend, so it should be good.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi CCStar - sounds like you had a lovely day. Sounds interesting the trip to the distillery; I must give that a go sometime. And it's always a bonus when you have a nice day and save money doing it!I think that's doubly therapeutic. Sx

We want to move because
Our son is hardly here, so might as well move out
It is too big for us if he does
The neighbours really annoy us, especially in the back rooms and in the garden.
It will be three years by the time we move out - our average
The front of our house is lovely, allotments, open views and a small main road but the back is surrounded by 3 uncaring neighbours. The traffic can be annoying at rush hour but not a great problem. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
