I freeze it too, if it's a big pack I divide it up by putting sheets of greaseproof paper in between the slices (every 4 slices)Bulletproof0

I know you're all here to see the tale but I wouldn't as they've all been frozen before. (All pre-packed cold meats are which is why you get chopped egg in scotch eggs) Following H&H guidelines, you shouldn't really.1 John 4: 7 & 80

I had Scotch egg at the weekend and it definitely was not chopped. The picnic eggs are chopped and mixed with mayo or salad cream but Scotch eggs are not.
I freeze pre packed meats, including ham, every week and have done for over 25 years with no ill effects.0 -
I am doing my online shopping and 1kg of sliced ham is £4.60 off the deli counter at asda, they will not let me buy less, this is okay if I can freeze it but no way can we get through 1kg in a week.0

Have you tried putting in 0.1 if you want 100g for example. It looks like it works to me.

You need to make certain it hasn't been frozen already. Lots of packets of cooked meats now say do not freeze.0

Its worth checking
(maybe call the supermarket to check that it hasn't been frozen previously) but most sliced cooked meats you can freeze without problems...:D

I freeze sliced cooked meats in portions quite often, so that I can lift out the right amount for that days lunches, but as piglet says it's worth checking that they haven't been frozen previously.
