Do you all not find tesco to be extremely expensive when compared to asda?
The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
    It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.

Not when they take up to 50% in money-off vouchers, as opposed to just 10% at Asda ;)

Plus there's a great offer on at the moment where, using the right vouchers, you get loads of toiletries virtually for nothing. :D (More info on the Vouchers board)

I've been into the store and it's actually too big to do a proper shop! It just takes too long to pick up a few items. I must say that I was impressed with the non-food range though, but the petrol is 2p litre more than Sainsbury's in Darnley!
    Waddle you do eh?

I was in today but can't work out why they've no garden furniture - I was looking forward to the sale  Does anyone know anything?

I find almost everywhere expensive compared to Asda! Unfortunately, there is no Asda in my town, but I go to Asda whenever I visit Glasgow. Asda seem to be cheaper overall, but to have fewer special offers (e.g. BOGOF or half price offers) than other supermarkets.

I hear that criticism a lot about the huge Tesco Extra outside my house, which replaced the perfectly good normal-sized Tesco 5 minutes walk down the road.
  • I visited this shop last night around 8pm. Not impressed. Far too big and the layout is most bizarre, food is miles away from the front door. Staff were stocking shelves, so palettes and cages all over the place, poor availability (for a 24hr store). Don't think I would go back. Stick with Asda.

And yes, they used to have garden furniture - all sold out?
