New Tesco extra store opening in Pollok,Glasgow

Just finished a very very busy shift getting the start of the fresh stock out (its going to be chaos tomorrow with the last minute deliveries)

Stores pretty much ready at over 105,000 sq ft of sales area,
34 checkouts and 4 self service
lots of televisions including a 50" HD Sony TV with leather couches in front of them
It stocks every single line that tesco do!
Your best to take a picnic as its huge and will take days to walk round, the car park is just one level outside the store right now but its very big,the mutli-sotry will be ready with the new shopping centre
Not much else I can really say except its very nice and well laid out, hope everyone likes it we've spent weeks getting it ready and theres still builders in doing last minute changes etc!

Roll on Monday morning!

Lot's of bargains......lady's belts that were £15 now 50p.......Hand bags less then half price.......a guys jacket that was £60.00 now £15.00......to many to mention......see you all at store.....Happy shopping.....:T

Nah I am just your regular skivvy! I just know all this stuff cos of the work I do! Don't know anyone in H&B i'm afraid! Its looking very nice the last of the fresh stuff was coming in tonight as I was leaving so its all going out and the rest of the stock is out and everythings neat and tidy!

is this tesco the largest in scotland only or is it the largest in europe.

In Scotland......opened at 8am,i was in the queue after work,finished at 7am,it was fair busy, i even got a bunch of flowers,as each checkout had flowers for their first customer, got loads of bargains,clothes.......but looks like it's all went well......all staff and mangagers clapped as the first customers went into store.....:o Hope everyone enjoys new store.....:beer:
