There are buses that pass near the store it's just that at the moment there are no stops really close to it because of all the construction work going on.0 -
Store is great.
But believe it or not , a couple of things it hasn't got.
No Pharmacy or Post Box !!
Anybody any idea why not ?0 -

To open a pharmacy there you have to get a license from the governing body. If there is deemed to be enough pharmacies already in the area tesco wouldn't have been allowed to open another, no matter how much the wanted to (normally a very good money spinner)
No idea about post office, perhaps something similiar?????0 -
can you get to it from the new m77 road? and has all the hype died down or is it still as busy.......and as ive never used self scan could someone explain how it works to me
thanks in advance0 -
Personally, I think the lack of a pharmacy is for the best... Too much junkie scum in the area. Queues of smelly neds in tracksuits drinking methadone would put me off my shopping.
Plus, the prices would have to go up due to the extra security staff required...The word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
You ask for ADVICE not ADVISE.0 -

the self scan is great but it can be annoying! there is usually a couple one is for baskets and the other for a proper shop. You just scan your items, loose items put it bar code, and put it in the bag or it goes down a conveyor belt where it collects for you to pack if you have a big shop.
annoyances: the basket one the bags are on scales and not very sensitive so often things like papers and cards it does not recognise and this v.v.v. annoying voice repeats the same order over and over again. If i am only buying a couple of things I place it straight on the scales and then bag once I am finished.
the other one the belt is a bit nuts and starts complaining if it things there is an unexpected item .
our local tescos have excellent staff at it and they are meant to get a percentage of people through so they are very fast when there are problems.
im going tomorrow and I think the M77 is the way to go.0 -
