Why not make a short call and find out if it has come out your inclusive xnet mins, with t-mobile you can check your allowance shortly after you've made the call or check it online.

MrGreen makes a valid point as I tried this yesterday, literally dialled the number for about 1 minute... called my friend in the US to say Howdy, hung up... checked tmobile online, and lo and behold, 'Standard Voice Call' no charge on the account...

    For reference, I'm on FlexT
    £4988 Lloyds TSB Mastercard
    £400 O/D Lloyds TSB
    £2650 Lloyds TSB Loan
    £5070 Black Horse Finance

Skint, but I have a plan.... an MSE Plan!!!

I have been trying this for a couple of days and not once have I bene able to get it to work. I'm on Flext and the 07744 calls don't cost me anything to make but I can't get through to who i'm trying to call in France. It either ends the call, or says "the access number you need to dial is {silience}, this call will now end" and hangs up on me again.

What am I doing wrong oh wise moneysavers

I don't quite know why that would happen for France, unless you are trying to ring a mobile via a provider that does not cover them. Try some others if so

Good to hear, but in fact you can call French mobiles on weekdays with a couple of other 07744 providers

Excellent! Thanks for those links, you have just saved my phonebill a fortune. My sister (16) is moving in with me next week so now I don't need to worry about her racking up loads of calls to our parents :rotfl:

Has anyone come accross a good deal in T-mobile possibly a 12 month half price or free? I did my home work but couldn't find any.

Another useful trick.....with this you can put a contact number in your phonebook without having to manually dial in the destination number.

Put your international numbers in your phone in the following format:

    0774XXXXXXXpYYYYYYYYYYYY

where the X's is the access number (i.e. from simplyfone).

Add the "p" (refer to your phone manual on how to do this) - this adds a three second pause.

The Y's represent the destination number inc the dialling code (e.g. 001 for the US).

Save it and ring... hope that helps :)
