Another interview tomorrow for OH. Fingers crossed.
Another NSD for me, had quite a few recently.
£300 in bank account, £20 in purse. All bills and direct debits paid. Just cleaner, food, then hair appt, petrol, beauty treatment and a pot for socialising.
24 days til payday.- DFD 4th July 2015

Really sorry to hear about the job... now this may be a silly idea but can you get him into comping or something between job searches as he likes his computer time and you never know he might win something! It could also be a motivator.
And more importantly, can he claim JSA or anything?
Car insurance is horrendous, I hope you find something better.
No JSA, I earn too much. Need to work on car insurance- nightmare.
Not into comping- I wish!
I'm hopeful he'll get something soon as he's searching and applying every day.
Really hope tomorrow goes well- DFD 4th July 2015

Really hope tomorrow goes well
All the best from me too.
Re car insurance - don't some people add their parents to bring down the cost of insurance? Not sure how that works: I think it's to do with a certain amount of driving time then being taken up by older drivers.Miggy

I'm sorry the interview didn't work out. It must be disheartening, though at least he is getting interviews so employers must be seeing something they like. Plus that's one of the opposition out of the way.
Tough times.
Nice to have the AF order to look forward to (I always feel a bit like Christmas when I open the big boxes!) I don't allow myself onto the treats pages though or it would go straight on my waist. The exception was my first order when they gave us about ten times the creme eggs I'd ordered and told me to keep them! Oh, that was a good day!
No more AF for me till I've near enough got through my last order.Miggy

ok £13 Mr T vouchers have arrived and I have a £5 off a £40 shop voucher too so Friday's shop should be £22. We have £64 left for groceries this month.
Got plenty in but will pop to A1di for some blueberries- DFD 4th July 2015

Nice roast just enjoyed. Leftover meat to form basis of my lunch Monday and Tuesday. Have also prepped dinner tomorrow (a kind of kofte kebab made with lamb mince and dip)- this will be had with wraps from AF and salad. OH will have chips too.
Tuesdays dinner is Nandos chicken and salad- with chips for OH too!
Wednesday I'm back late so OH is having pizza and I'lll have steamed salmon or seabass with veg.
That's as far as I've got- got plenty in the freezer but need to top up on some small things- OH can do this tomorrow so I need to write a list.
Going to have an afternoon zzzzz followed by a long hot shower. Then lots of chores to do and some situps- yikes.
Paid ikea card today. I have £50 in my bank, £25.39 in savings and £8.75 in purse. This needs to cover V day (will do some sightseeing and a cheap meal out), and surviving until payday.
20 days til payday. (not that I should be looking forward to this as next month will be just as tight as this month!)- DFD 4th July 2015

Ok OH's shopping list for tomorrow comes to £8.65 which leaves £55.35 for groceries for next 20 days. Virtual Mr T basket (shopping list) for weekly shop on Friday shows total as £44.17 although this will change I'm sure either on the day or as other offers tempt me!
Will use £5 off voucher, plus £13 worth of Mr T vouchers which means I should spend £26.17 approx. Leaves me £29.18 for the final week.
In freezer we have:
1 meals worth chicken
1 meals worth prawns- to have in prawn and crab curry
1 meals worth HM bolognese
4 meals worth sausages
2 packs of bacon for breakfasts or sandwiches
5 chicken breasts for my lunches
Around 12 portions frozen salmon and seabass
1 pack of lamb mince
1 pack of chicken thighs for nandos chicken
Plenty of chips and bread plus pizzas and pies for OH- DFD 4th July 2015
