Havent been on for a few days but have been a busy little DFW nevertheless!!! Have sorted all payments out for month, moved extra money for car insurance into ISA. Paid for coal. Money for DS bd pressie paid out, MIL Bd pressie bought and sitting upstairs (with the half price wrap paper). Got wrap paper for DD1 BD 25p for a big roll of HSM in primark today - bargain eh!
DH sat and when through expenditure with me and as things are leaving account we are ticking them off. I'm not going to pay any extra off cc until other bills and DD have got out and what is left (hopefully £100) can be paid off the bill.
Also had another good idea so see how it works. I have got everyone a little pot today (5 for £1!) and put their name on it. What I am going to do is put monthly in it the money they need for activitied eg brownies. So I dont have to keep scrambling around looking for cash - it will be in the pot. Will let you know how it goes - fingers crossed. Managed £150 off Next bill which leaves £300 to pay. Still havent got round to listing on ebay grrr.

Well been having a good think today and getting a bit worried as they debt not coming down as quick as I hoped. Wanting to finish work in July so have only a few months left now -hmm getting worried. So the ccard looks like this at the mo 3990
this month 110 + 100 = 3780
march payment of 700 = 3080
april payment of 500 = 2580
may payment of 400 = 2180
June payment of 450 = 1730
July payment of 300 = 1430
So unless DH gets a payrise or we get some additional overtime wont quite make my target. Boo hoo.
But am hoping to knock another £100 off on ebay.
I am also wanting to add £100 per month from my overtime/housekeeping budget to my savings which currently stand at £1400 which would take it to £2000. this would be a good starting point as ths would be my safety net whilst studying. Hopefully will get a small study grant also which will buy ink and paper etc for my course work.
Other than antcipating leaving work and budgetting have just been busy keeping on top of housework and kids keep me really busy.:D

You are doing great, like the idea of the pots, I would find it hard not to dip into it though, I am doing what I have said on my thread and paying for things like school dinners at the beginning of each month, then I don't have to worry about it. My son does rugby so his gets paid half termly and daughters comes out monthly, might get the pot though to save for sons next lot of fees so then I don't have to find the £40 ish pound that it will cost. Keep going you will get there.0

Thanks Lauen! I see you too are getting on well. Keep up the good work.
Had a low spend day today. Went to Somerfields and got some real bargains last night bread rolls down to 35p each, grapes 99p and a scotch egg 25p. The capri sun drinks we also half price great for acitivities and swimming as these drinks always cost a fortune when you buy them at a venue!
Am on track with monthly spending and this month we werent in either overdrafts which was really good.

Well had a morning till my bully boss came in and spoke to me like I was a piece of Sh**te on the floor. Was soooooo  mad!!! For the first time ever I shouted back at him - really this is unacceptable - I left another job because of him and now here I am stuck in the same bloody situation but with debt I need to clear before I leave!!! Am so mad at myself at the mo. So what am I doing - I am going to do some painting tonight and do something constructive rather than brooding and worrying about going to work. Have 16 weeks left now so hope all the money saving will pay off. Had a bit of good news might have a little job come the end of the year just 1 day per week but will certaintly help! DH is asking for his payrise in April so will let you know how we get on - if he can get £200 per month we could poss add £800 to our savings before I leave keeping me on track with things - here hoping.
Having a big sort out this pm so hopefully will have enough to do a car boot sale. Might earn a few quid.
Got some bargain trousers in the sale for DH dad next month for his 60th bd and will keep some cash aside to put in a card. Next month will be dearer than anitcipated, tiles to buy, home insurance and car tax all due. DD was hoping to go away with Brownies on a holiday bit for the first time ever really dont think I can afford it - never mind!
Anyway feel better getting all that off my chest - will crack on tidying and put all my stress and worry into painting tonight - poor walls

Isn't it awful when people you work with treat you like that, there are a few nurses at the hospital similar, they try to make you feel really stupid. We just need to rise above it.0

Had a busy day today - lots of house work. havent dared checked online banking this month, I have about £10 cash to last me till monday so thinking of lots of nice cheapy things to do. park and a picnic maybe wil see what the weather is doing.
Have maybe 5 hours overtime already will try and get it too ten by the end of the month which I am sure it will be! That will be about an extra £80 ish. DH is doing loads of overtime but have lots of bills to pay for next month, tiles 350ish, car tax 80 ish, house insurance 150 ish. So along with a couple of special birthdays will put a big dent in the extra money. I have started to look for another job now as I could do more hours and more money doing a night shift - will see what is available! Mum very kindly said if DH is working away she would stay over and help with kids which is fab and I really appreciate it. Both my mum and Dh mum and dads are fab - and have helped and supported us loads. We are really lucky and I hope we can do the same for our children one day!
Have still not got around to doing any ebay listings - boo hoo! Nevermind cracking on well with the house - got some cheap paint and it is looking good and all paid for and on a budget! Just need some cheap storage now to tidy up toys and other bits - may have a look and see if their are any offers on!:)
