Total Left for month £215.00 (put loose change from shopping into tin) DD1 didnt go to her club tonight so had £1.50 left so put that in the tin also. It is already feeling heavy! So great stuff.
Still havent quite done meal planner - bad pinky!! Must do night as I will be doing weekly shop tomorrow.
Feeling a bit yucky at the mo and things are catching up on me - DH is working sp hard and with work on the house barely have a minute. The quicker we can get our debts paid off the better as I dont think we can go on much longer with this amount of stress. We both have very demanding jobs and am finally beginning to admit it is a struggle. So have shared budget plan with DH and we are continuing to work overtime. The quicker we pay off ccard then any further amounts will go into savings. DH is due a review in april so may get a payrise. So the future is looking good I just really need to get through the next 6 mths.
Am off to check my paypal account now to see if anything has been paid in!!!:D

Feeling a bit grrrrr:mad: today. Am preparing to leave work in sept and had done all budgetting checked entitled to etc everything was fine. Went onto tax credits and changed amounts for this year (slightly over estimates given last year) and asked them to work out what I would get when I left work she said oh well it will go up and proceeded to work it out for me. I was expecting £80per week and they told me it is going to be £50!!! Not surprised women are pushed out to work!!! Anyway have worked out that if I get another job I will still only be £50 a week better off that is based on working a 16 hour week and out of that needs to come diesal etc. So if I can reducing spending (again) I still think the better option will be not working till last little one goes to school. So we are now pinning our hope on DH big meeting to determine wage etc!!
So based on current money when I leave this is what we have - is it doable????
Tax credits monthly 216 + 200 over from wages - total £416 per month
Fam allowance pays for - kids activities, xmas savings, car tax stamps and kids savings.
Now these figures are based on no overtime at all as I dont know when this will happen.
On average overtime works out around £4500 per year (last 2 years anyway) this again offers an average of £350 month so that would certainly raise monthly totals. However I would prefer to use overtime to pay off loan and save a bit.
Savings wise come sept once ccard is paid off we will have hopefully £2500 put away. This works out as an emergency £100 per month while I am off should anything be needed (I dont ever want to have to use ccard again lol).

Hi Katie - am hoping only about 20 weeks. Unfortunatley on Sunday DH bumped his van on the ice - will be fixed but excess will be £300:mad::mad::mad: so this will set us back a bit. However DH m&d have said they will pay for our new carpet so the money put aside for this will go towards this bill and my m&d said they will lend us some. It is always the same feel like we are just getting somewhere and we owe for something else - flaming typical eh:mad:
So as you can tell am not in a very good mood. DH is also in a bad mood with the van and painting every night. The house is a tips as alll rooms are filled with stuff from rooms getting decorated. I have paperwork piled everywhere , bags and shoes and toys scattered everywhere and just cant seem to find an end to it all.
Am hoping for a better day tomorrow and a few cheapie days away at half term with kids. Hopefully the bigs jobs will be done then and I can restore some order to my home - please - please let it be finished!! Right rant and moan over must get on and try and get a few bits done now.:)

Hi all:wave:- having a bit better day. Have got lots done today and am in the process of sorting out old toys and clothes. A bit of order always helps me feel better. I am really pleased as yesterday pm got a fab bargain - thanks grabbit board. Got DD1 a fab bikes reduced to £25. So that will be a great pressie for Easter!!! Unfortunately the extra money saved will have to go towards Car. The car insurance is due next month so bracing myself for payment/quotes.
Posted an ebay parcel today and tonight will check online banking. Still aiming to pay off ccard and save £2500 before leaving work. Am reckoning I have around £1900 saved. I dont want to pay this off ccard (interest free anyway) as I like to have a back up.
The week after next I have another £200 to hit the Ccard with. So total should be around £2700 ish?
Then in March another £250 can come off. I think I need a spreadsheet lol!

Well hello there!! Have had a few cheapie days away with littlies. Had a fab time but washing pile full again lol. So on thursday I have promised myself I will do the lot!!:D
Not a lot happening on DFW front - hmmm have a few bits to go on ebay (decent stuff which should get a few quid lol). This will help top up my total to pay some off my Next bill.
Still living on a reduced budget till pay day (week on fri - hurry up:D)
Have enough shopping and £20 cash so hopefully will be enough.
My ISA matured this week so have £1500 to transfer into savings. That means I aim to pay another £500 or more to help us when I leave work. I have £200 next week to pay off c card but as usual DH appeared with an old credit card - surprise surprise with £80 on it:mad:. Am so not impressed. So will pay this off in full and the other £120 will come off credit card. Here is how things are adding up till september
    Ccard total £3990
    next week -£120 leaves £3870
    DD payment March - £100 leaves - £3770
Extra out of overtime March - £100 leaves - £3670
So I am still a little off target but will see how it goes. DH always has a fab month march as loads of overtime so am hoping that overtime can pay road tax, home insurance and rest can come of ccard.
Come sept as long as minimum payments are £2o ish we still should manage??? heres hoping :):):)
