Hi Katie - it is really really cold here today just as I had put my jumpers and winter coats away - typical eh!
Had a quiet day today as not feeling to well I dont think the stress of my job helps either. I have managed to have a good tidy round tho, washing hung out and dishes done am hoping to have a night of rest so not going to do anymore work for now.
Still no payslip from DH work so will just have to wait and hope it comes tomorrow. DH and I have sat down and gone through the money book tonight so he knows what is happening and where money is going this month. I like him to be involved so he doesnt !!!! it up lol and also it is his responsibility too. We have money aside for birthdays and really need to buy some easter eggs. have £200 to pay off next bill which I will do on wednesday. We really must sort out home insurance also which I might get some quotes for tonight. I will also check my quidco account and ebay. I have a few watchers but no bids as yet boohoo.

I will be able to pay some extra off ccard but will do this later in month when all payments are gone just incase I am caught off guard! Have changed my sig to £3800 - I hopefully have another 450 to off this by the end of the month - watch this space. i have £200 to come off next also yey!
Have had a busy pm lots of cleaning and tidying a good hoover and changed all the beds! Unforunately I have a massive pile of washing which I need to control -
Have some nice free things to do over the holidays. Some of the things we are planning are very much weather permitting so will have to wait and see.

Hmm dont think I would describe myself as inspirational - but thanks KT;)
Well tried to open a barlcays ISA today but codes are in DH name and of course wont let me open one. So I need to order new codes and then try and open one - might pop into town tomorrow and see if I can do this over the counter. The reason I want to do this is we currently save £25 a month for the kids which go into their accounts. but I dont want them to just have this money and would rather put it away for uni, car, home etc! Also it would be tax protected. They would still keep the saving accounts they have for pocket, bd money. It would just mean when they are 18 they wont go mad with money for their future. Actually their was a real debate over childrens money on the DFW board - got quite heated lol.
Have made a payment to Next and now owe £148 which I hope to clear next month.
Updated money and hopefully this month if my sums are right will have an additional £400 to come off credit card! This should take the total to £3400 but wont update my sig till it is actually done!
My weekly money remaining is £75 as paid mum back some money I owed her. We have lots in the freezer just need some meat as the queue in the butchers was silly yesterday - will try again on tuesday.
Ebay not doing too bad have lots of watchers and 2 items have a few bids on them which is good - hopefully these will go up before tonight!
Today not sure what to do was going to do the woods but it is bitter cold so not too good for little one. Most places round here will be closed to sooo may do a little walk and maybe painting or a visit to mums - will see how we go!

Well off to butchers today. I have £60 left from my weekly spending money. But have gived DH £30 to take little ones to pics and for a burger afterwards. I will spent another £10 on meat which leaves £20. So I am going to give my mum £10 to save for me and I am going to try and add £10 per week so we can afford to do something nice for our anniversary which is in september. Think the other £10 will go on milk and fruit?
So tomorrow I get me new weekly budget so I will have a think about what we need. I have changed my sig to 3800. Unfortunately I made a oopsie with my sums and so dont know if I will have any extra to come off ccard. But I do have my tax credits a week on monday however I dont know what these will be at the mo as they will change with the start of the new tax year.
Any coins in my purse today will go in the xmas savings account. which stands at £57. My sealed tin is nearly full - this will be used for treats in the summer hols. I will then get another which will be added to for xmas treats. In dec we had about £50 in it which was good!
I have 4 parcels to post on ebay today and another 5 items listed 1 which is bidded on already. So I have another £20 I can pay my mum - must check what I now owe!
So lots o jobs to do today DH is going to clear all the junk out of the garden and I may get DD1 to sort out her room which is messy - god help me lol.
It is cold and wet typical hols eh? Hope everyone is well!:)

Yes am hoping the weather will get better as you say KT it will reduce the heating costs.
Did all jobs today, cleared loads of junk to tip and tomorrow at some point need to sweep and power wash yard - I am determined to make it look nice for summer. DH working more overtime this month so am hoping we can spare £70 which will be enough for a picnic table for kids and some cheap plastic furnitur for us. Am really hoping we will get a good summer - surely we deserve one after such a bad winter!
Right well off to bed night night:D

Cant seem to get warm today - hope i am not coming down with anything?
have had a lovely day today - went to the park and kids had a fab time running around and tonight their dad is taking the 2 big ones to the pics! So me and baby will have some peace and quiet - I hope lol. The pics and a burger king were from last weeks spends so am pleased they have been able to do this.
I have updated online banking and have ticked off everything which has come out of bank. We are on track with everything this month. A few more watchers on ebay and upstairs I have another ten or so items to go on which I may do tonight if i am feeling up to it. Have a slightly reduced budget of £80 this week as I have paid £20 coal bill but I think it should be do able - I hope anyway lol. I will pop to the shops tomorrow but reckon I should only need to spend £30 max as I have meat in the freezer I bought the other day so really just fresh stuff and milk!
DS needs shoes but will use my family allowance and may have a look on clarks website for some bargains - i am not very lucky at getting reduced shoes though.
Am also like others waiting for my tax credits renewal as they are telling me my payments will drop by £100 but of course I am hoping to leave work so my wages bill in the next financial year will be loads lower so am hoping to get this sorted asap!
    :)
