  • Oh Pinky don't be downhearted about the food shopping, nothing's worth going hungry for.

I've not heard from tax credits yet either. It's frustrating some times and then you do what I did today and realise you've got your sums wrong and given them the wrong figures and suddenly the delay seems a whole lot better! :rotfl:

Well done on the ebaying, I've still not managed to get the enthusiasm to list stuff. Good luck with the car booting too.

    Fingers crossed for DH's payrise!

Feeling a bit better today - you have to pick yourself up and get on eh? :D
Have been paid now and have done a big asda order which is coming tomorrow and did this linked to my meal plan - which I am pleased with. Am hoping to pay mum £30 back of the money I owe her and have £100 for my next bill - but the trackies and jumpers I ordered have to go on yet so still £95 to go on - I dont mind this tho as once I can fit in my old clothes then I wont have to buy new ones - very money saver eh?:)
DH got fab overtime so can buy a few bits for the hols and pay our oil bill and hopefully an extra £100 off credit card.
Am fairly orgainsed at the mo and have found a few other items to stick on ebay!

Dieting going well and have nearly managed 7llbs and am feeling very motivated - which is great am sleeping and feeling better all around.
On the money front I should have an extra £100 to pay off this money - although we had some diesal and shopping to go on yet!

Yes Katie still plodding on with it all.
Have sorted money for the month, all bills paid, did a big online shop and meal planner for 2 weeks. I filled the car but the flaming thing is down to half full already - diesal is costing us soooo much and I hate paying for it boohoo. I have £300 to go on my ccard but £400 to come off so although I am disapppointed I have still managed to pay £100 reducing my debt. I am hoping the meal planner will help to avoid last months food shortage - hence using the credit card.:(:(
Have a few things to go on ebay but need to find the motivation as yet lol!

Oops havent posted for a few days - must try and remember too but have soooo much on at the mo. Still finding things a bit of a struggle on the budget I have set so may have to look at upping it and paying less off the debts for the moment. I will have a think.
Diesal costs are causing me a lot of headaches at the moment as these have crept up sooo much. I think we are using about £50 per week and I dont think we can afford to keep doing this - so have upped my efforts job wise as currently I am using the car everyday.
I have £315 to come off ccard this month but havent added what went on last month yet so will change my sig accordingly:mad:
I have a few more bits to go on ebay which if I get motivated I can do tonight I reckon I can make about £50 from these which can go towards a day out during half term.
Christmas savings are ticking over nicely and I have around £80 saved and another £20 to go in tomorrow - yey!
Am waiting for NPower to get nack to me as I am hoping my electric bill will go down?? here hoping:D

Hi pinky, fuel costs are shocking!! I know. I dont think they will come down anytime soon either. Good luck with the ebaying, I know it is a pain to put things on, but I always get a warm glow when I see my stuff sell:)

Well I got my tax credits renewal today but not holding out much hope for any cash lol.
This pm I am going to ring Npower and check if they have sorted my payment. It wont be this month now as they have already took dd boo hoo.
Still on target budget wise and trying to not spend anything. Have meals planned till end of weekend just the usual few bits really.
Have a payment to make next monday on cc card which will take it back to £3600 so only a little more than I hoped. DH going to try and get some overtime so might get a bit more paid off anyway.
Aiming for a NS day today and tomorrow going no where near the shops at all lol.
While I am doing ironing tonight am going to get DH to photograph all ebay stuff and load it on so the following evening I can just get cracked on.
    Have a nice day everyone!:)
