Hi jo - good to hear from you - hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We had a really lovely day today and instead of hitting the sales like I usually would I am hanging onto my christmas cash to think about the best way to spend it.:A
Anyway SOA all done for next year we reckon tax credits will clear the smaller credit card bill so will be focussing on the larger one for the time being. So am gonna work out a little plan to get that cleared asap. We also need to look at our mortgage and see whether its worth ending the fix earlier - so will ring them this week to get some quotes.
Other than that going to have a tidy up/sort out day and get the kids to tidy there rooms. Then a little play in the snow and then a dvd maybe. A nice NS day

Well re mortgage - forgot today was a BH and they were closed so will ring them tomorrow first thing to check rates and ERC's.
Have done a little planner on working towards clearing off the bigger C Card bill - (see sig). Also I reckon tax credits should go up by £15 per week from April based on this years earnings so might start putting that away for a rainy day since we arent used to having it anyway.
Havent done meal planner but will do that tomorrow morning and hopefully DH pay will go in friday so I can do a big shop (with kids in tow - fun eh?:D)
I have found a few things to eaby but will hang on for now as its not worth it with the sales being on - maybe feb?
Have had a NS day today which is great. Am waiting for a Boots order got loads of bargains which will cover birthdays through the year at half the price - very money saving eh? Hope everyone has had a good day - chukcing it down with rain here lol x

Had a nice restful day today. Kids played really nice and enjoyed a DVD this pm. Have done my meal planner and shopping list. Checked up on my order from Boots (pressies for during the year) it has still not come!
Have paid my Next bill. Found an extra £10 in purse which I didnt know I had - so will pay that off a bill methinks.
Had another NS day today. I am going to add these up during Jan to see how many I can achieve.
Got some mortgage quotes today will cost me £700 to buy out of my fixed rate so DH and I will get the calculator out this weekend to see whether its worth it or not. I was hoping to hold out till summer but worry that the rates may shoot up. Will have to have a think about it.
Not much else to report really - house ticking over and looking forward to a quiet weekend! x

Busy as ever I see!
Menu planner is another thing I plan to be organised on this year, our food bill has been slowly creeping up so want to be on the ball with that.
Good thinking with the Boots order, again another thing I want to be more organised with is presents. Have they been delivered yet?Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Meal planner done, banking sorted and money transferred to diff acounts, paid an extra £170 off credit card - will update sig when it has gone through. Have done huge monthly shop £110 in total. Both freezers are chocca and cuboards really full so should last for a while. I need to get £20 out now for the house for milk and fruit for next week or so.
Car full of petrol £50:mad: sooo expensive - but another job done.
Am shattered now after all the rushing around but at least jobs nearly all done. Gonna have a few drinks, quiet night and take away yum.
Have a Happy New Year Everyone!!!
