Hi pinky
have just seen on the weekly newsletter that the next sale is likely to be on this saturday. Be strong!!!

Morning all - yes its silly oclock - my unsociable little ones thought 5.30am was a reasonable time to get up on a sunday - not!
So thought I would have a little catch up. Have tidied kitchen cupboard, stacked dishwasher and bought washing in which was left out over night - oops:D.
Need tonight to redo out budget planner now hours are reduced. Think I can just about make it doable. I have bought a new money book to write down spending in and will cancel some of the savings direct debits for the time being. I need to do the meal planner for the month which will be higher as the kids are on their summer hols and will therefore attempt to eat me out of house and home no doubt.
I was really pleased with myself yesterday only spending £40 in the Next sale. From this I bought wrapping paper and birthday cards and some shoes for kids which were in the budget already. So happy with that.
Think I have a buyer for a large item I have sitting in the shed so hopefully another £35 off the credit card, DH has a few bits we dont use he is thinking of selling also.
Not much else really just need to crack on and redo budget. Hope everyone gets a nice lie in!:)

Ouch 5.30 am:eek: I was supposed to have my lie-in today (OH has Saturdays and I have Sundays) but by the time OH had deemed to prise himself out of bed and take DS downstairs, I had to get up anyway as my sis was popping round:mad: So he owes me!
You sound v. organised re: revising the budget, am sure you'll sort it. I'm forecasting groceries costing more over summer hols too (another ouch!)Dealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

Sorry have not updated more often as things have been manic winding down for the holidays as they usually are. Been stung for a few unexpected extras boo hoo. So I think I will be in the overdraft slightly in one account:(. Am planning to have the food shopping delivered on friday which is pay day so have all week to sort out my list. Now I have more time on my hands I have lots of plans. Make at least £20 per week on ebay, sort out all kids rooms and store junk to carboot, Organise and shred old paperwork. Clear and Clean kitchen cupboards (may need a full day for that one:D). Attempt to not strangle children during the holidays and instead provide them with an educational and nuturing environment while they are off:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
Try and rest a bit and enjoy not having too rush anywhere.
I have loads planned during the holidays and lots of it is free - which is very money saver!

ROFL my sentiments exactly!
Seriously good plans! I need to still do my summer hols planning, hoping to do it later re: kids activities. Feeling fairly confident should have something to do most days, even if only going to the park, doing baking or whatnot.
I keep putting off sorting kitchen cupboards - you are very brave:DDealing with my debts!Currently overpaying Virgin cc -balance Jan 2010 @ 1985.65Now @ 703.63

hi pinky, have been away for a few days, so catching up with all. Organization is the key!! Keep the little bu**ers busy, wear them out, and they will sleep well, and maybe have a lie in!! Well you can hope!
I hope there is some dry and sunny weather for the school hols, it makes the days go over so much quicker if kids can go out to play.

You sound very organised esp where the holidays are concerned!! I have a few ideas but going to search the web for more interesting and fun (plus free/cheap:p) things for the kids to do.
Enjoy your holidays
p.s. my daughter has decided that 5.30 is also the best time of day and wakes the whole house :mad:GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
LOL 5.30am is seriously rubbish isnt it - My little one enjoys nothing more than a loud redition of twinkle twinkle - which of course disturbs the others (who generally will go till 7.30am) Having said that she didnt get up till 6.30am;) today so a bit of a lie in:rotfl:!!!
Today has been low spend - free craft activity, pasta and milk bought. Food organised for today and some bits defrosting for tomorrow. Tomorrow have a diff craft activity in the morning. I am going to do some baking with them tomorrow pm after dinner and naps. So should be fun lol!
Started on cupboards and have found from past mistakes lol - tackle just one at a time. So I managed to do most of them and threw a bin bag of rubbish out eg empty packets, broken lunch boxes. All chair pads washed, ironing basket empty, and rest of washing on line. Kids playing nicely (for now;)), so am gonna make a cuppa and join a game of cars on the floor. Hope everyone else is surviving! x:jNov 2012 - Loan £1200, CC1 £1450
