McDonalds TV ad

Has anyone seen the new McDonalds ad? The one that says "A pound, also known as a bob, a quid and a squid." Excuse me, but when the hell was a pound EVER known as a bob? A shilling, or 5 new pence to you youngsters was a bob. Does anyone know who the morons behind the ad are?

haha I always get laughed at by my wife for calling 50p '10 bob'. Maybe Maccie D's should change it to 20 bobIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

Many people I know call £1 "one bob" but these are all young people who have never experienced the old types of money. Many people I know also wouldn't go posting about it on a web forum that a McD's ad has called £1 a bob.0
