Of course you have something you can wear. Its just going to take a bit of imagination. Not every fella is going to turn up in a tux with a martini glass in hand whilst not every female will be earing a bikini although I bet the fellas are hoping that they do. Surely you can come up with something from the things you already have. Miss MoneyPenny was a secretary can you do boring skirt suit and heels?

Diabetic Chocolate works wonders for weight loss, its 90% laxative as my step mother discovered one day by accident.

  • FF - Thanks for reminding me about the Ebay! I'm gonna get on there now, only got a couple of things to go on there but every little helps!! :j

:rotfl:@ moo2moo! I might just have to try that diabetic choccy!! Weight watchers meeting tomo so I can see if I'm actually starting to make any progress  Unfortunately the party hostess is after everyone in the glam look & the Miss Moneypenny style just won't cut it! I remain hopeful for getting into that dress though - even if I have to cut off my circulation for a few hours! :D

  • Hello all!

Well my weigh in at fat club went well on Monday, lost 2.5lbs so was very happy! But managed to get back to my usual meeting tonight & have managed to lose another 1 lb since Monday! :j So very pleased, have now lost a stone since I started weight watchers! Have definitely taken the scenic route but am getting there! :rotfl:

Just over 24hours til payday! And I know exactly where every penny of it is going already! Lol - at least I have structure I guess

Going to look for some recipes & meal ideas tomorrow so I can do a meal plan for the next week and hopefully keep the food shopping costs down.

    Night night :)

  • Hello everyone out there in diary land!

I have been very slack this week & not kept up to date with writing things down :o

Had a good week though - although pretty bad in terms of dosh and waistline! It was a friend's birthday yesterday so ended up spending almost £40 that I wasn't planning on! Was a good day though, pub lunch, bowling and a few drinkies in the evening, plus I bought her a bottle of plonk so all in all not too bad. Got my 007 party tomorrow though so more money and more drink!

I am being very good with writing down everything I'm spending though so am keeping a close eye on it. I joined the £365 in 365 challenge as well which is going pretty good so far. I have paid up til the end of the month (plus about 2 quid extra) which is going into paying off my smaller overdraft so that should be gone by the end of the year :T I also have a mystery shop for that bank where I need to make a deposit into the account so rather than moving it back over as I would normally do, I'm going to leave it in there & hope I can get away with not needing it this month & then I can be a step closer to paying it off :D

Hopefully get to finish work a bit early today so gonna spend the evening sorting the arrangements for tomo night & making a list of other jobs that need doing. I love being more organised! :j

Have a good day all! x

  • Hey all,

Just on here to have a general moan with nothing to do with MSE!

Split up with my OH yesterday so am feeling pretty emotional at the mo  We've been together for what would have been 13 months tomo, but we were also together on and off for a year before that. He's due home from America in 2 weeks and I am totally gutted. I thought we were gonna make it :(

  • Hi everyone,

Well I've been crying pretty much non-stop since Sunday and think the tears are finally starting to slow down now. Am still totally gutted & plotting ways to get him back ( :rotfl:) but feel a bit better today.

Maybe its because I've gone off the rails a bit so have spent more money than I should and have been eating and drinking loads of cr*p! That's the only good bit about splitting up with someone!

I know it's only a short-lived pleasure though and i'll soon feel guilty when I add up how much I've spent unneccessarily and see what damage i've done to my weight loss! Weight watchers is not gonna be fun tonight
