I've woken up in a brill mood this morning :j its a lovely sunny day, have got a fridge and cupboard stocked full of nice healthy foods and have figured out a way to watch tv on my iphone so i can watch the footy today whilst stuck at work!
Hope you all have a good day!2019 will be my year!!0 -

Sealed Pot Challenge #9550 -
Hey everyone,
Well I went to WW last night and by some miracle lost 1/2 a pound! Not a huge amount but at least it's a loss, I was expecting a huge gain as I havent actually been following the plan at all!
Now I've gone and got all my healthy stuff in though, I am being good and tracking everything now! Am trying to eat different things and make different meals as well now so I don't get bored eating the same old things. Had roasted peppers stuffed with couscous and feta for dins last night - was lush! Not sure what to have tonight, am just trawling the website looking for a decent recipe now.
Am looking on track for another NSD today
dreading the spends that are coming up this weekend though! Plus I'm at 1 bbq on sat and another bbq on sun so all my healthy eating will go flying out the window as well! :rotfl: 2019 will be my year!!0 -
Morning all,
Another lovely hot and sunny day - which is likely to mean a trip down the pub with work peeps at lunchtime! :j
Things are starting to pick up at the moment and I'm feeling a lot more positive about sorting things out. Not sure if I mentioned before that CapQuest agreed for me to send them £10 a month so sent that first payment off yesterday. But more importantly, seeing as I finally got off my !!!! and sent off my mobiles, I've had emails confirming the sales and should have £80 winging it's way over as we speak!! :j
Now comes the dilemma of what to do with that £80! :rotfl:Might have to hide it away in an envelope until I can decide the most sensible use for it! The main idea I have for it at the mo is for my dad's 50th birthday prezzie. I was supposed to be saving up all my £2 coins for that but after my disastrous month last month I had to bank them to get me through til payday. So I might use this cash instead as I will have to send off for it soon.
But I imagine many more sensible people would pay off some extra on the debt with it! Hmmmm decisions decisions!!2019 will be my year!!0 -

Well being sensible all the time is just not fun:silenced:Whoops!!! wash my mouth out!!!
Why don't you do both, of course depending on what it is and how much the present is for your dad, then there is no guilt!!!!

In my head I say I will use bonus cash to pay off debts, but my heart says well it's extra, you weren't expecting it, treat yourself:whistle:
But I'm naughty and a bad influence

Happy Monday everyone!!
Hope you all had good weekends, mine was AWESOME! :j
Had a school reunion type thing all day & night Saturday which was really good. And then had our fathers day with dad yesterday instead of last week so went go karting, watched the footy (boooo!) and had a bbq
So feeling very chirpy for a Monday morning!
When I got home on Friday my £80 cheque hd already arrived! How's that for service!? So I paid it in on Saturday, but still havent decided what to do with it yet! So for now I have paid it into my A&L overdraft where it may stay as a payment or until I have decided what I can spend it on! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
Hmmmm....good intentions slipped pretty quick! Spent a lot more than I at first thought at the weekend and am so skint already - it's not even the 1st of the month  But hey ho 3 weeks and 1 day til payday!! lol!
Have cancelled the girls night out on Friday - they were NOT happy with me but if I gots no dosh I can't go! Simple as! I am also going to continue with the NSD challenge in July and have also signed up to the make £10 a day in July challenge. Have failed every time I've tried but I've got lots of Mystery Shops set up for this weekend so should start me off well
Maybe that £80 from the mobiles will have to be spent on just getting me through then month!

Hi All,
Well July is off to a fairly mixed start!
Got home to find another mobile phone cheque :j So went and put £5.24 in the bank! I also put my sensible head back on and took back some of the clothes I bought at the weekend that I really dont need! :A So another £26 is making its way back onto my card as we speak!
Then was chatting with my flatmate last night and the landlady has got in touch with her to say she wants to sell the flat
We have to be out by Sept 1st!!
Am gutted because I really like it there, the location is fantastic and it's dirt cheap rent! Probably why the landlady has had enough!
On the work front, my company have just created 2 new roles, one which would be great for me, so I have applied for that and have an interview on tues! It would give me a bit more responsibility, and probably not too much of a salary increase but every little certainly helps! Got a fair bit of competition though so I'm not holding my breath!
As well as this, my dad knows someone who can possibly get me a job in their company! :j Now this would be more like the salary I am after but is a fair bit further away. Could work out perfectly if I get a job with them and then can move out of my flat over to that area! So I have sent my CV over to them and keeping my fingers crossed!
Wow looks like a life change is definitely on the horizon in time for my 25th birthday!! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
Oh god, interview in half an hour......PANIC STATIONS!!!!!:eek::eek:2019 will be my year!!0
