Jojo, well done for going to the GP; you've got in there quick and it's good that the hospital will check you out. I'm sure he was just playing on the safe side and hope that everything is fine.

LameWolf, sorry that you sat and cried for 30 mins; there seems to be a lot of depression/sadness around. Sending you a cyber hug.

Ishtar, I know that feeling when you've got a child really playing up; it's grim isn't it. Are you going riding on the weekend?

Nice easy dinner as reheated the left over casserole from yesterday and then DS and I decluttered some more left over cheesecake from the other day (getting a bit fed up of it now tbh) whilst DH had a yogurt and DD had a lollipop!

Will clear up the kitchen in a bit. I've done my filing now apart from making a file for the dog (we haven't had her long) and then I'm going to get the kids up to bed and sit down and enjoy doing some knitting.

We're in the home straight....she's doing her teeth then OH is reading her a story while I settle DS. Hope she goes straight to sleep. Sadly, not riding this weekend, but DD is at a birthday party tomorrow from 2-5pm, so we've got some time off!

Hi all, hope you are all ok. ((hugs)) for those who need it.

I've had another hectic day making sure family and neighbours are all sorted, home care teams have been unable to get to them so doing what I can. DPs Grandma's paid service as an example send them in little cars which just can't make it. Next door are really reluctant to accept help but as they're both approaching 80 this year I think they are starting to realise it's better to let people help when they can. Shopping and a couple of prescriptions collected today, few other little jobs done too. New wellies collected for my Land Rover which has been a god send so far! It's just so they are all more all weather tyres and all match which makes a difference. I also had a barely legal spare so ones gone on as a spare.

BE CAREFUL IF OUT SLEDGING - a little one was collected out the back of here by ambulance earlier after a sledging accident

Anyway, flying for the rest of the day, well not had huge time. I've done the DW and WM, trying to keep on top of the washing with the 'concerns' over water/gas/elec supply. Dishwasher salt used on the steps here and at neighbours, I had a few spare bags from my Wilkos shop (there is NONE in the supermarkets round here....or any other salt) so just using it a little at a time on the nastiest ice where we can't get it off. I need to put the rest of my shopping away, I paid with nectar card again making sure I got enough dog food for the week etc. The dining table has also been dumped on so that needs clearing again.

Going to do myself a small list for tonight, just hoping the snow stays off as DP is at work tonight to see if he can make something. Take care everyone x
One day I might be more organised...........

    bother bother bother
my birthday holiday is looking dodgy because Ryanair have rescheduled their flights from EMA...
    and the hotel is booked..
mum (who is the family travel agent;)) has been on the phone all wound up...have suggested she 'considers' Luton ... that'll be a schlep then!

    ETA well done Lil_me ...

was hearing on the radio that hospitals are overwhelmed with fractures...would suspect that there are A LOT of broken wrists...

    oh it's snowing again:rolleyes:

Welshkaz - I clean to radio 2 usually - I iron to radio 4 comedy programmes or radio 2. or one of my many Cds CD collection is wide and varied - currently Stevie Wonders Greatest Hits - very favourite is Higher Ground. (Just bought from HMV on line through quidco ;) - very good price for a double CD ;))

Watch out for this little critter on laundry day.

So far my net bag has kept him away from Mr LW's socks.:o
    c_image22.jpg

Thats the culprit -:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:The sock monster :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

He comes to my house every day and eats a few of the socks :D:D:rotfl:
    Evening all [waves weakly]

And tried to think of best way to say that very nice and sweet male doctor told me well done for going straight in to see him. But he is still referring me to hospital under the two week rule.

Nope. There is no best way of saying it.

    Probably anything but the worst.

But still. The two week rule, otherwise referred to as USC.

    Yeuch.

Again JoJo as everyone else has said, sending good luck vibes for you (((Hugs))) sweetie

    Anyone fancy an HHC 7:10 - 7:40???

So I can get my list finished ON A FRIDAY :confused:

Who would have thought it but decluttering through the holidays has really helped A LOT ;)
