Trying to renew Irish Passport in UK!

I went to the Liverpool post office to use the express service for a renewal and had the wrong size photos. Luckily they were able to give me a new form and sent me off to a camera shop around the corner who were able to sort out the right photos.
Then I was directed to another post office about a half a mile away that was able to counter sign my photos for £10. I just had to show my old passport and a driving license but a bank card would have done.
Wish I'd known I could just do it all in Liverpool on the day before spending a week getting rejected by my doctor, dentist, bank, police, post office and pharmacist for the counter signature. The clergy were very helpful when I could get hold of them but they couldn't do it in time.0 -
My local pub manager signed mine.0

Hi, I'm really stuck with trying to find someone to sign mine. I have tried various solicitors and they all refused! Doesn't look like I'm ever going to get one done at this rate. Tried Drs, dentist, vets, police won't do it. It's just been so hard.0
