  • Got a little celebration at work tomorrow so we've all been asked to provide something for a shared lunch!!! Now normally I pop into supermarket and pick up something gorgeous, but this time i have decided to provide a gorgeous home made 'chocolate concrete' cake to remind us all of school days:) All the ingredients were in the cupboard so a result (especially as I persuaded dd no1 to bake it!!;)) I've even got custard!

  • Morning.
Have woken up feeling quite positive today. Been thinking about this forum and the fact that it isfar more of a support group than a mere diary. Feel like i should be standing up and saying, 'My name is Cialilerin and I am in debt...' It would be so easy to just slip back into my old ways and bury my head in the sand, but with all this support, I am determined to stay focussed. So thank you!

Had a hard day at work yesterday, with unexpected things cropping up all day, day only ended when fire alarms went off and building evacuated. Just after 6, the fire service told us they couldn't give find the source of the problem so we couldn't get back into the building so I was sent home. Probably a good job or I might still be there :( I also forgot to bring the cake in:mad: but have said I'll make one for next week when there isn't such a gluttony of food available so it may be more appreciated!!

Plan for today is to go and have a look around a car boot sale. The kids really want a pop up pirate game. we have had 2 of these in the past but they lost all the bits. :( I refuse to pay full price for another one but hopefully I may get one cheap at the car boot. I also want to see how busy it is and see if I can get motivated to do one. Ive got a few toddler garden toys (slide and car etc) to sell so probably better to wait for next Spring.

    Have a good day

  • Enjoy the car boot, hope you find some pirates.

  • Hey girls

Sorry I've not been around forever but been burying my head a bit too!! lol

I think if you Email or phone the company that makes the game, they'll send you a replacement set of peices for pop up pirate - I know they do with mousetrap and buckaroo. Might be worth a go.

    Cuckoo. xx
