Another busy week at work this week, I worked over 70 hours and I only get paid for 35
, next week can only get better!
Good news this week, I won £25 from my Premium Bonds and I passed my mock exam at college :j
I need to do some revision for the other topic on my course as that's the one I can't get my head around but I just can't find the motivation to revise

Another busy week at work this week, only did 60 hours so not quite as bad as last weeks 70 - although the laptop is on again now
We have finally had hubby's back bay of Job Seekers Allowance so that has gone towards the overdraft and I've sent the confirmation to the mortgage company so fingers crossed the back pay for PPI will be paid soon as that will be about £2k
Hubby is off playing football in a charity 5 a side thing today and isn't coming back until tomorrow so I should really do some revision whilst I have a peaceful house. Although have Avon delivery to sort then distribute and plenty of TV to catch up on from the Sky+
Have a good Bank Holiday weekend all!Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

Another busy week, with only one day spend at my normal office.
Regular overpayment of £250 went out on the 1st so the balance is now £118,041
Still no sign of the back dated PPI - think i'll have to give them a call next weekend if we've still not seen anything because the overdraft is still growing
The remainder of my bonus from work which is paid in shares should be in my share dealing account in the next few days - i'm thinking I should hold onto them for a bit because I could get more bonus but then again I have an evergrowing overdraft :question:Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

Hi Laura, have just caught up on your diary. Well done on your OP's. I hope you manage to get your PPI claim sorted out.Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0

Thanks Cath, the bank have asked for another letter from the Job Centre confirming the whole time period insted of 2 seperate letters from them  Hopefully it will soon be sorted!
On a positive note I had my remaining bonus in shares from work this week and I thought they had opened a new sharedealing account for me but when I called to find out they said it was an old account and there was also £450 cash in there from 2008  That has now been transferred to my current account, unfortunately needs to go towards the overdraft at the moment rather than overpaying the mortgage
I've also been working at another office 60 miles away twice a week so 45p a mile expense claim is coming in handy
I'm keeping the overpayment at £250 whilst we are still overdrawn but once that's paid off I will really be hitting the mortgage!Jan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000
Jun 2010 - Overdraft £0 / Credit Card £0 / Loan £0 / Mortgage £125,250

WOW! Just caught up on the last couple of months of your diary. Amazed you have managed to keep up with O/P's whilst you OH is off work. Hope he finds a job that is right for him soon!
Noticed someone mentioned the benefit in kind tax that would apply to your reduced mortgage rate - have you figured out whether it is still worth doing?
BabyBMort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.100 -
Thanks BabyB, It hasn't been easy keeping up the overpayments and i've been getting further into the overdraft but we have PPI cover so (when they sort out the payments) that plus the JSA hubby gets should pretty much cover what he was earning before when you take into account he's not spending money on things such as diesel to get to work
The company I work for have a calculator on the internal Intranet site and it worked out better for me to go with the staff rateJan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000
Jun 2010 - Overdraft £0 / Credit Card £0 / Loan £0 / Mortgage £125,250

:j Yesterday we finally recieved confirmation from the Job Centre to send onto Halifax for our PPI claim (the first letter from the Job Centre wasn't good enough apparently!), so that will be posted to them tomorrow morning.
I've been to the garden and food show today, free tickets of course! Was a good day out, not sure I would have enjoyed it so much had I paid £24 to go in  But nice free food and cups of tea in the press office (courtesy of my daddy who works for a newspaper
)
And I've recieved my £65 cashback for transferring to E-ON this week. As well as calling Sky because our box keeps freezing, managed to get half price TV package for the next 6 months whilst I was on the phone to them as well :T and my expenses from travelling to another site twice last week have gone in as well
It's no travel week at work next week, a new policy to try and save money and the carbon foot print. So to be able to travel to other sites I've had to get director approval, so 3 days out of the office next week
