Morning Jinks
Thanks for the slap:A
Have decided that I will re-sit in December and not put any other pressure on myself to hurry up and get more qualified.
Basically, I have a job, which I do like and I am not in any particular hurry to move up onto higher things with my current employer. A degree would be useful but not essential and I will get it one day just not as quickly as I would have liked (bit spoilt to be honest)
Anyone who disagrees can go take a jump (I mean work people)
Went out for 6 mile walk last night and saw such a sad and sorry site as we passed through one of the villages that It made my problems fade into complete insignificance............
Flowers/teddies left on the doorstep of a house where a toddler was recently killed by his mother, apparantly she just snapped and afterwards walked into our local police station with his body in her arms.
............and on that cheerful note, I am off to do last nights dinner dishes:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Think I will make chicken fajhitas tonight

Ohh Lou, I saw that on the news. How awful.
I was brave and weighed at the weekend. Not good but at least I now have my starting point.
I'm wasting my holidays too. DH went back to work yesterday and I have to admit, I feel a bit depressed he's not here with us. We all had such a lovely time together when he was off. I sat here all day yesterday and did nowt. Today WILL be different :cool:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

It does that Beanie:(
Really big posh and mega expensive house too, goes to show that money doesnt always bring happiness. I am almost certain that I have seen the girl and the little one before going into the house as we have been out on our walks and she has smiled and said hello, very scary and sad situation.
Hows the week going for you Beanie? But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
As per my recent post on FB-I have GOT to get a grip and sort myself out food/life wise so I have a few goals-writing them down will help and will help you lot to make me stick to them!
1. Back on Cambridge-first mini goal-get under 13 stone. This can be easily achieved within a few days/week
2. Stick on Cambridge and get down to 11st7-this would take my BMI to a healthier 28ish and get me to where I am meant to be as a CDC
3. Fill out my application for guaranteed spot in VLM for Breast Cancer Care. Would mean I HAVE to do and NEED to raise £1500. (I have just has a £50 pledge for when I reach 11.7!!! Ah! Must do it now!)
4. Long term, lose 4 stone. I want to be 9st7 and a healthy size 10 and FIT. I want to feel comfortable in clothes, not hide my belly, worry about what will fit etc and most of all I need to be an example to my children.
So there you go.
11st7 can be reached in 8 weeks. Here we gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
