Maybe you'll be able to push for some extras if you stick with O2 though. Get a simplicity deal from o2 with extras as your'e already a customer..
Or just talk to orange sales and get them to improve "a quote" from O2 on their sim-only tarriff.. im sure they'll be happy to do so. They seem to be v easy going as far as contracts go.0 -
Also, regarding o2's phone range, new Bold 9700 out tomorrow, apparently anyway.0

Tip: Get through to O2 customer service within a few seconds by dialling 10202 free from your O2 mobile.
This will connect you to O2 money but then simply ask to be transferred to PAYG/Pay Monthly/Retentions/iPhone/whichever dept you want.
I know this because I recently left O2 to join Vodafone after the !!!!-poor retention offer I was given.
Vodafone contract: 900 minutes, Unlimited texts, Unlimited 3G web, Free Sagem VF530
£20/month for 12 months. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The T-Mobile SIM only deals have unlimited texts above 20 quid a month on a 30 day contract:).Abbafan1972 wrote: »Regarding the choice of phones on O2, I have noticed that the list of models hasn't changed much in the last 12 months since I had my C902 (which is still on there). I have an 18 month contract which is due to run out on 24th July.
I am still considering changing to sim only, but I may switch to orange, their sim only deal is better in that you get unlimited texts BUT it's a 12 month contract, whereas with O2 you get a limited amount of texts and the contract is only for 30 days.0 -

I wasn't really planning on spending that much. I am currently on a £30 pm contract, but got it for £18 including my C902. Am trying to bring my bill down.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £17,496.340
