    Afternoon all,

At last its starting to thaw, and now its a bit warmer OH has decided we need to get some more insulation for the loft to keep the heat in a bit more. I only mentioned that maybe that would be a good idea in september:rolleyes:. So if it took 4ish months for that to sink in i'll start mentioning that the bathroom needs doing that way when he mentions it i'll have the money saved up ready for his fab idea;)
Anyhow back to business - £2.40 to various pad tins and £8 to evil egg please.

Haha, my OH is exactly the same! Although, I'm convinced that it's not 'sinking in' that does the trick. It just needs to be HIS idea before it carries any merit. lol

If I remind him that I told him we should've acted on something months, or even weeks ago, he tells me I didn't. Absolutely adamant of that fact, each and every time! :rotfl::rotfl:

Let's see how long it is before he decides the bathroom roof needs repairing (it leaked on Christmas day as the ice on top thawed - been fine since). I tried to get him to arrange for it to be fixed before he went back to work (I was already back at work) and before more snow came.........but nooooooooooo, doesn't listen to me. We had a bit of a bust up about it actually, so will be interesting to see if he remembers that the next time it leaks.

    Hi all,

I had such a lovely sleep last night (which makes a change for a on/off insomniac) and I really didn't want to get up this morning. But get up I did and when I parked my car at work I found 50p lurking in the snow - an inch further over and I'd have parked on top of it! So that is my PAD for today please Green.

Blazingduck, I'd probably reccommend what others have said, I agree with FF that an overraft feels a bit more accessible and friendly than a credit card, I've cleared mine a couple of times in the past yet I still have it... Won't happen again though!

I've been a good girl today and kick started the diet again, muesli for breakfast, a salad in pitta bread for lunch and I'm about to have slow cooked chilli and rice for dinner. I did try to treat myself to a biscuit at breaktime but was thwarted when it decided to go swimming in my tea.:rotfl:

Sorry to hear you are having a crappy time at work Mary, mind you at least you have actually got a job to go to. Definitely keep a track of any 'incidents' though.

Have a good evening everyone xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
  • Got back to work today at long last. Did OK considering the awkward conditions. It hovered between zero and 1 all day after about 9 o'clock but that's all I needed. Was funny at one job. I started walking around one side of the house and suddenly the snow came up to one of my knees LOL. Think there must have been a hole there or something. No harm done.
