I cant imagine ever wanting to go back to work if i had a child, let alone when you are being treated badly. I hope things improve.

  • I really HATE ASDA just now...they text me earlier to say that they won't be delivering my shopping tomorrow...I've not got a scrap of food in the house so I'm really  with them!!

Dont I know THAT feeling! Sainsburys did this to me last week, they offered to rebook but with the snow they said they dont know if they'd be able to make it even a few days later. Also it took them 3 bloody days to refund the money they'd "reserved" (notice I didnt say debited cos the cow on the phone claimed nothing had been taken, funny that cos its showing as debited on my statement and the refunded) grrrr

Had noticed though that many friends round the country from Halifax to Essex have had theirs cancelled too, often without even a call to let them know  not just by Asda though, seems Tesco and Ocado are no better
Strange though how Sainsbos couldnt get to me and yet my auntie (bless her) managed to pick me up and drive me to them :rotfl:

Hope you get it sorted Mary, its so difficult with little uns under your feet :(

Thanks Flower for the reply, im sure they'll top up soon. The actual branch must have some cash in..............right?:o:rotfl::rotfl:

Can I Pad £25 please Green to savings, thanks

    Morning all

6.36 to my cap one and 3.00 to DH cap one today please Green. Going to chip away at these 2 and get rid of both them in 2010 - that's the plan anyhow:D Also 60.00 to Next directory.

Angelic - glad the job went ok.

Wet and windy here today but at least the snow has cleared.

    Total PAD 69.36
    Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j

  • Evening All!

Thank you for the concern over my job but I think there has been some improvements...

I went in this afternoon and asked the boss into an empty room and told him I wouldn't be doing all of the rubbish jobs and I refused to go above and beyond my call of duty, I told him that he's to expect as little work from me as possible and until I feel wanted it would remain that way. I also told him that I didn't give a s*it about the place anymore (I used to give them 150%) but when we got back into the office he presented my with a pile of paper from yesterday that he told me was full of mistakes :o which shut me up for a little while :D but I made a very public display of handing them back to him and saying that I thought he was mistaken, the only thing I had to fix was an incorrect ammendment someone else had made :T

Record everything in writing. He may start looking for an excuse to sack you.
  • Also, DottyAnne - welcome to the merry band of padders.

Angelic - Sorry about the job, mine went through a bad patch last yr but I had to work 5 days a week, its horrible, I now just keep my head down and get on with it 12 months and I can look at my options.... :-)

    Morning all!

Still full of the cold and exhausted :( I think I watched everything worthwhile on iPlayer/4OD yesterday too.

Still, the PADs must go on, so £5 PAD please!
