That is a bummer about the weather Paul, though it's good that you have a plan to tackle some of the things you don't normally have time to. That will put you in a better position when you do get working again.

The good thing is that you have made headway with your debts, it has been moving steadily downwards, which is an achievement. If it has to go up due to your business, then so be it - it will come down again later.

You seem very focused with the different challenges you're doing, so that can only have positive results. :T
I can't pretend I know what it must be like to be contemplating BR, but from the sounds of it, you've overcome greater adversity in life and will get through this too. Keep going, you WILL get there :)

I will need to borrow money (if available) to pay my pending tax bill. This was for income earned before 1/1/09 so the relevant amount will be added to the start amount and to the paid off amount. It will probably be higher than at the start of 2009. I have always known this and that is not the issue for me. I have some access to credit which I have anticipated needing to access for the tax bill. I didn't anticipate needing it for my day to day living too though.
Once I get through this bit, I will play things a bit differently. I will try to build up some fallback money while paying off debts at the same time. Running without emergency fund is fine until the unexpected crops up.

    G'day all :o

I am typing this in bed with my lappie, and with the snow blizzarding down outside like it has been all day thus far.

And I am dying. Oh, OK, I might be exaggerating a little, but it sure feels like it. That'll teach me to stay up until 6am with military types drinking. Ouch.

Anyhoo, a small, quiet and gentle PAD of £2.23 for me today, and a NSD as I am not safe to be walking anywhere. Snow's pretty out the window though :o

Now, if you could just keep the noise down, I'm off to curl up in the foetal position and mew softly to myself.

    Stay safe, all.

    Hello everyone!

Another horrible day here, i ventured out to pop to the bank (nearly fell over, but just managed to keep my balance - much to the amusement of OH).
Supposed to be having more snow here tonight, getting fed up of it now!

OH and i are supposed to be meeting friends tonight but we have decided its too cold to go out and would rather stay in snuggled up in the warm - saves a bit of money at least!

Paul - sorry to hear of the problems your having because of this awful weather! I really hope things start improving for you soon.

PAD for me today is £5 to savings.
