Frugal PADers, can I ask a question..... when you bulk out with bulgar wheat, how much do you use? I just used 100g to 300g of mince for a chilli, and added a bit of extra water. Is there a 'rule of thumb' for amount per person?! *confused*

I'm clearly making up for the days I don't pad.... just stuck another 39p (I think!) in the pot, just whats left of this weeks budget (that lasted long!) and rounding down my few pennies left for the grocery budget.0

Errm, you may need someone more experienced but I generally just chuck lentils in to bulk out my mince. Have you looked on OS or Frugal challenge?Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
