Evening Padders!

I've had a good/bad day...

Took DS to see the consultant today. She was really surprised to see the mischief he gets up to and gave me a huge pat on the back for being 'a switched on, dedicated parent'!

The bad part of my day came when the car died in Matalan car park. We'd pulled into the car park to feed the kids and we couldn't get it started again! :eek: I was mortified when we had push it up a hill and give it a (what my dad used to call) bumpstart!

I'm annoyed because I paid nearly £200 to have it serviced 3 days before xmas...but also glad because that service should keep it in warranty for another few months!

I didn't really get going with the shopping trip I had in mind but the kids got some new bits and OH got an xbox game...I bought some sanctuary stuff (spend £10 and get a 'free' gift *rolls eyes*) that I'll give to myself before I go to work on Mother's Day! :cool:

Haven't done any banking yet today so will post my pad later!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks!

Don't know if this counts as a PAD or not but I went to Boots today got the essential, didn't give in to temptation and buy a whole load of things that I don't need. Plus paid for the goods using my advantage points!

Money saved is going to my OD reduction fund!!

Thank you Flower, the doc said that he was doing things that some babies with Down's aren't doing at 18months so I'm really proud of him! I think I've got his sister to thank though, she keeps him amused and he watches averything that she does, she takes his toys away which forces him to move to get them back so I think she's helping him but obviously is too young to understand what she's doing!

:rotfl:Im sure that pleases him. But thats really good though that he is making good progress - can understand why you must be proud!!

I keep missing you...Do you just log on when you're bored, see if you need to reply then log off again?! I used to do that..now I go away and do other things, wish we had a button on here that would turn our light a differewnt colour so people know we'll be back soon!

How's things with you? Everything still going well at 'home'?

Apparently...some of the padders have something called, a life and others have a, now, what do you call it...oh I remember...a social life?? I'm not too sure what they are so I'll insert confused smiley here!
