Morning - i've just noticed where you're from! I've spent many a night at the Plasma Bar or loitering behind it, in the car park at the back of the snooker centre.... :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyone would think i'm a gypsy the amount of times i've moved:D

I was sent home for a migraine, and had one the other day, so now if I go sick before May I will have a displinary!!
It's not fair they put that pressure on you.... sending :grouphug: your way xx
That's really unfair! If you're ill, you're ill. And to make such a fuss over 2 days is just stupid! What happens if you're off for a week first time, and a week the second time? Do they really put that in the same category as someone who's only had 2 days in total, one of which they were SENT home for??
My work's policy is for someone to have a chat with you about your general health, if you are off for more than 3 days in a 3 month period. But, as I understand it, this is to ensure that you aren't feeling under pressure/stress etc from work. Or any other work related issue.
I believe it's so they can recognise a problem early on and help you overcome it. And, I think they are quite paranoid about being sued and not being seen to have done everything they can to help you in the eyes of the law.
I think I did come close to having one of these chats, but it was around the same time as my Grandma died, so my Manager told them and they let it be.
Where's their common sense, Pyscho? The fools!
Oh, and I'm glad you had your pancakes last night. I finally got round to making them last night too, although, I think I should've made more. The recipe said it was for 12-14 pancakes, so I halved the ingredients, expecting 6-7 pancakes. Noooo....I got 4, small, pancakes.Oh well, good excuse to make them again tonight!

Hi All, £2.05 for me today
My cc is under £1k woo hoo I was sooo excited, still a long way to go and it is only 1 card of 4 but it actually feels like I am getting somewhere
Couldn't have done it without the PaD and although I don't say too much, reading through the thread and seeing how much support there is for everything really helps me.0 -

Haha - Wickford doesn't have much, literally a high street, few pubs, kebab shop and taxi rank! Therefore the only thing to do was end up in the supermarket car park smoking! :rotfl::rotfl:
My photo's? LOL - I am not what you expected, if so you're the only one that thinks that hahaha! Shame some of us decide not to show themselves, innit love?:D hint, hint!!

I think they make out it's to check you are ok, but yes it would be the same. And if say I had a day off, then went back to work and didn't feel better so had another day off, that counts as 2 sick periods. It's just stupid.
Oh enjoy more pancakes!! Mine didn't turn out too well so I'm glad it was just me there to eat them...Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
