I've just finished the most amazing breakfast (yes, I know it's lunchtime!) of sausage, bacon and sweet chilli sauce all crammed onto a freshly baked rollIt was very nice!
Paul - Apparently, after of mouthful of extra stong mints or hot coffee, 'brushing teeth' is better...not that I'd know though as I don't have a 'toothbrush' so will need someone to test the theoryIf you can be bothered explaining, why didn't your huge pad pay off any of your debt?
My pad is another £12.00 today please Keza!
Hope you're all having a fab day! x
Probably best to stick to one's own toothbrush LOL.
The PAD ws from borrowed money. Basically I borrowed money to pay my tax bill. Maybe not one of my better choices but if I had asked the taxman about setting up a payment plan, it becomes very rigid and it gets difficult if you need to deviate from that. So I borrowed it elsewhere as I intend to drastically increase my workload in the coming months and wish to repay it ASAP. However, I wanted to leave a bit of flexibility there if I can't repay as much as I wish to in a given month.
There are two sides to this I think . Basically I am pushing myself into working harder. Whichever way I sliced it, I was in a situation where my known debt increased. I know what I intend to be earning by late Summer and with some application and a bit of cunning, there's no reason I shouldn't be earning it. If it getsa a bit much, I can always ease of in a year or two as my indebtedness eases.
Although I have been keeping good spreadsheet records, I haven't updated my sig in ages.
Sometimes I just feel like throwing in the towel, going BR, and just letting them do what they will. Losing my flat would be very inconvenient but I would find a way around things. However, probably the worst of the Winter is now behind us (hopefully), I'm in the process of designing postcards for my business, and I will get them out there. I shopped around and instead of paying £300ish+ for 5,000 A5ish postcards, I've found a place that will do it for about £170ish. That's silk finish, A5, 300gsm card, with 4/4 printing (4 colour both sides).
I'm torn between two extremes it seems. I don't want the middle ground (DMP) because the creditors just hassle you day and night and my head couldn't take that. Apart from that, many of them just lump on their extortionate charges and interest and you never get anywhere.
50 - 100 decent quality customers will make the difference as it would give me the confidence to increase some of the low prices to where they should be or even to totally drop some of the customers who mess me about.0 -
