Hi all, pad of £2 today - £1 from survey money to my Flooring fund and £1 between the ccs.

Work was very busy today and I'm very tired, quite sick of this weather and it snowed again last night.

Sorry to hear about your cat Sassers, I will be very upset when any of my three go as they are such characters.

Hey, I've just heard (from my Mum), that Manchester has been declared a state of emergency due to the snow and the police are now only responding to life threatening calls.

Anyone in the area? Is it true? I've tried searching online but can't find anything about it. Plenty about the snow etc, just not this part in particular.
hey euro and mumof4 - it's bad down the road in warrington, too. still snowing heavily, schools closed at least today and tomorrow. we live on a fairly main road and i've not seen much going by today...just need to take the puppy for a walk then i think it's in front the fire with some hot choc and marshmallows!
Warrington resident here too and can report ATLEAST 6 inches of snow here which is rather lovely. My American friends have spent most of the day laughing at me as the College I'm teaching at was closed today and tomorrow as were most of the schools around the area, and they're used to a lot more snow than us! Overall a fab day :D Hoope everyone's enjoying the snow anyhows and staying safe? Hope you had a good day wondering the snow tomtom :D

I really want to post a pic of the snow we have here but I'll probably make it too big and stretch the board!
