  • Evening Padders!!

Paul - self assessment and tax returns and stuff sounds a bit too complicated for my liking...I like having someone to do it for me i.e payroll!

Silaqui - I don't tend to leave the kids anywhere or with anyone, I don't like the thought of something happening and I'm not there :o They don't know the family we're going to visit (DD has only seen them twice and DS just the once) and even then it was just flying visits...I would really love to go but they'd have to come with me. I know that my wee girl woudn't stay with anyone anyway, she's too used to it just being us that looks after her...I suppose it's not really a good thing :o

I love rollercoasters aswell, I was the 1st in the queue to go on the 7-looper at Parc Asterix in Paris, it was awesome...but I was only about 11 at the time so any rollercoaster is awesome when you're that age!

Could you please put me down for another £11.00 today Keza!

Hope you've all had a fab day! x

I feel your pain - truly. Its my daily nightmare. All my PaD's go towards my self assessment payments on account and mainly, currently, arrears :(

Yes I've noticed some of those rather whopping payments you make to the IR. I really feel that it would be a big help if they allowed those payments on account to be spread between the two payments - although my January bill would still be a bit under £4k - a lot of money if you haven't got any. It looks like I can borrow some and may need to do their "time to pay" stuff on top of that but the external borrowing won't be cheap. I have room to up my income but I'm not getting any younger for all this physical graft.

Pros and cons to that really.
They do it all for you but sometimes you can get treated like sh** by other workers and it's harder to leave when all your income is from one place. If one of my customers is persistently irritating/unreasonable/wants more than they're entitled to, I just replace them. The more they pay me the longer it takes but as sure as nature made little green apples, the day comes when I move on.
  • PAD of £15.09 today
  • £9.52 for me today please
