Well done to those paying things off!
Gilli - I heard that's it's bad luck to give a piggy bank or purse as a gift with no money in it...tell your mum to buy you a purse and slip a twenty in it for you just to be on the safe side
How you doing Paul? You're posts seem shorter than usual...hope everything is o.k?
Another £11.00 from me please Keza!
Hope you've all had a fab day! x
Being so superstitious I sort of put my recent financial acumen down to that purse, as it has never been empty. Even though I've now thrown it away I have kept the 50p that was in it when I got it.
My mum putting a twenty in a purse? lol 20p maybe - although I think it has to be silver that's in a purse given as a gift.

Wow I'm well chuffed! Managed to get a room at the alton towers hotel for OH's birthday for just £105 b&b! Have posted the available date on the Grabbit board if anyone is interested, the room sleeps up to 4 according to the blurb.

That could read as an invitation for people to share the room to save money.

Nothing more wrong than usual thanks Mary. Just the usual debt stress. Busy sorting out work stuff to increase my income over the coming months so not had so much time for here. Although I'm late with it, I'm looking around for the best way to fund a 5 grand tax bill. May have to ask IR to do the "time to pay" bit for at least some of it. Was hoping to avoid that though.
At least some of the larger cheques have been arriving over the past week - not before time too on some of them.0 -
PAD of £403.28 spread between two credit cards and a loan.0
