Hopeful1 I have mixed feelings on my username as it sounds a bit negative or confrontational at times.

Oh no, i took it as being fun and mischevious, so don't worry xPigginSkint wrote: »Hi All
Sorry I have been MIA for a while - to say that this week has been eventful would be putting it mildly! OH was 40 on Thursday and we had a few people over in the evening. I had my appointment at the hand clinic on Thursday morning and they have put me on the emergency list for an operation to remove the shard in my finger. I am just waiting for the phone call as I am likely to have the op on Monday or Tuesday. It can't come soon enough - I am in a lot of pain now. And last, but definitely not least, OH's uncle died of cancer yesterday (he was only diagnosed on Monday).
That must have been a real shock for your OH's family. Best wishes to you all.
I'm glad you've had the call so soon for your opGood luck!

Thanks! I could cross the fingers of my left hand! I am looking forward to getting this over and done with, even if it means more pain in the short term.PigginSkint's debt free diary
