A bra at 8?! She'll be getting some 'embaressing' attention from he boys when she gets to high school!! :rotfl:

Yeah, I had to get my first at 9 and the 'embarrassing attention' started at primary school! I was the youngest in my family with this though. My sisters both started around the 11/12 I think.

I also started wearing a bra at 9 - all the boys at school thought it was great fun to ping the strap at the back!

WOW PS - you have had a week of it - hope all goes well with your op - it sounds like it's sorely <literally> needed.

Thanks - excuse the pun but I feel like I am in good hands now (unlike when I went to A&E - no local anaesthetic and no tweezers!)

  • Evening Padders,

Just popped in to say hi!

Piggin I was sorry to read about uncle but happy that your hand will finally be fixed!

Gilli it sounds like your childminding HV was a nightmare, I don't understand why people have so much authority over what does/doesn't happen to kids...the parents always know best (even when it's not the best!)

Interfering busybodies  As soon as he was old enough he went to nursery where he was so much happier.
piggin skint you have had a dreadful week. Sending you dodgy virtual hugs.

Is anybody else really superstitious? My purse broke yesterday, the zip went and it's too difficult/not worth the bother to fix. But my nan always said it was unlucky to buy a purse for yourself. For now I have a little coin purse I use when I go out, and a wallet I use on holiday, but will have to wait until July for my birthday for a new purse. May be a bit too long really.

Anyway as a result of said purse breaking, I have put all the change that contributed to its demise into my slummy jar, so £3.55 please keza. I can't believe there was that much silver in it, and thats without the £15 in pound coins.

On a completely separate issue, I need neighbours for my farm please so if anyone want neighbours please pm me.
