Morning all
angelic try and stay positive to get the best for DS. It's a long time since I was involved with healthcare professionals, but they always have that 'we know best and you know nothing' attitude. You are with him all the time, so know what works best for him. Back in the day, you only got 18 weeks mat leave from work and my DS childminder was an ex HV who was always interfering. The clinic HV was within a signature of referring my DS to a specialist at Alder Hey, despite everything I said, because at 1year he couldn't sit unaided, no idea why not, and then he crawled over to her, stood up and walked across the room. Her face was a picture!
Sorry, I know there have been posts since, but had to reply to your rant.
