Oh and also snowing on and off here. Did the same yesterday too. Traffic is murder, but thankfully public transport is fine.
My Manager lives further away and has to drive in. I told her she should stay at home, no point sitting in traffic for over two hours just to get here and then doing it again on way home. I can hold the fort. Hahaha.
Ah, and my other colleague is still sick. At least, I think she's sick. I have a sneaking supsicion that all is not well at home again (there's an ongoing issue there). I hope she's OK.
Nice and quiet in the office though. I'm bl00dy hungry though. lolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Morning to everyone and all the returners, newbies etc......
I had to put my cat down this morning, bless her. She was 18 and quite arthritic - but it really was the kindest thing to do...
Had a little cry but I'm proud she chose me in the cat home all those years ago and I was able to love and look after her...we had such fun and that's the main thing.
Anyhoo...back to normal pad today of £2.
Big huggles to Jedi and peeps who need them today.
Love Sassers x
Oh, Sassers, I'm sorry. However you have got the right idea - look back on the sunshine not the rain. Morning All! :hello:.
Really bad snow here too. I made it into work through the blizzards - the only one in my department :A
I'm back home now though, as didn't want to get stuck there.
GREAT total yesterday! :T Thanks again for the totting up Green
PAD for today is £77.10 to MBNA, Thank you!0 -
Howdy doody PADeroonies!
MaHOOsive PAD of £1.60 into my flagon today.
It is !!!!in freezing here today and I think I'm going to have to purchase an electric blanket, which is going to throw my budget for a loop. Our bedroom and bathroom are in an extended area of the house which is above a double garage and has three external walls. My gentleman friend's dad insulated the sloped roof when he added it on, but not the walls, and so our rooms are arctic. Add to that the fact that the heating system doesn't have quite enough OOMPH to heat our radiators and you get one pixie popsicle! :snow_laug
Anyway, back to work tomorrow (boo). Might have to fit snowshoes to my car...
Keep smiling!
*meeep*
