Morning guys!
Well....I was looking at my online account just before I did my PADding...and for some reason I decided I couldn't wait until February to clear my Abbey CC....so I just did!.....well, as near as I can guestimating with PADs to come of it + a tiny bit of interest - so just a measly few £ left on it, but it feels awesome to effectively have one less card now!!!
:j:j:j:j
So....EGG....you're next....be afraid!
PAD today is £139
Well done Matt! jediteacher wrote: »Sorry guys to unload but feeling really down today as last night I miscarried for the second time in 6 months. Been to doctors and they say it's just one of those things and as it's my second not third then I will have to wait and see what happens if I get pregnant again. I know I have one healthy little girl and this is a blessing but at the moment it doesn't dull the pain.
Sorry to unburden here but you guys feel like a family and also only my husband knew I was pregnant and I don't want anyone else to know.
My heart goes out to you, Jedi. My best friend has had three miscarriages over the past two years and was beginning to lose all hope....however she is now 2 months (I'm the only person she's told over Xmas) so there IS still hope, hun. I am a firm believer in that. Hang in there, and many dodgy hugs for you and your family :grouphug: xMortgage-Free WannabeMortgage at start [20/6/12]: £151,800/MFD Jun 2035 (age 65)Mortgage now [5/11/14]: £139,212.14/MFD Oct 2029 (age 59)Personal Library 2014:starmod: Read in 2014: 57/60 :starmod: In Progress: 2 :starmod: Books In: 94 :starmod: Books Out: 12 :starmod: TBR: 847 :starmod:0 -
Hope everyone is staying warm out there! Blimey it's cold here, and I spent this morning shoving birch branches through our wood chipper and freezing my tatas off. Good upper body workout though - and free!
My PAD today is a small, but perfectly formed, £3.70 into the pixie PAD flagon. (Thank you Green!)
Exciting news - I opened a cash ISA yesterday and will be putting all my PADs into that for the foreseeable future. Savings! At last! I plan to make a regular monthly deposit and then empty my flagon once in a while and shove that into it too.
Unfortunately I think that I may have to use a teensy bit of my o/d at the end of this month, though, as I have a £200 dentist appointment tomorrow and still need to eat  However I'm keen to keep it under control and so will be using this month's flagon contents to keep that down. Seems odd to be taking money out of the dreaded cashpoint only to pay some back in in shrapnel, but that's cashflow for ya!
Anyhoo, hugs, congratulations and welcomes to all and sundry. I have to take my gentleman friend to pick up his car from its MOT now. I hate cars.

Blimey it's icy here, took me twice as long to walk to the bus this morning cos the pavements are so treacherous, and then the blimmin bus didn't turn up so I had to wait half an hour for the next one... F-f-f-flippin f-f-f-f-freezing I was!
