I found out recently that meant I had to have blood transfusions when I was born, and a whole load of blood tests. I didn't realise quite how much of an impact it could have had on me!
Yeah, it can cause all sorts of problems if left untreated. And not many people know about it.
I only found out when I fell pregnant myself. Then again, I think only about 15% of the population is rhesus d negative, so not too surprising I guess.
Our bodies are amazing, but strange things in that respect. And, as I understand it, if the father is also rhesus d negative, then all will be fine as baby will def be negative too. The problem occurs when the baby is positive instead as your body doesn't recognise it and so creates antibodies towards it!!
Sassers, you are very brave indeed. It can't have been easy for you, but I'm glad you're at peace with it now.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Ah man, don't talk about cats (or dogs, or hamsters or any cute furry animal). I really, really want a pet right now, but we just don't have the room, or the time for one, realistically speaking.
Plus, I think the OH realises that having a pet together usually leads to something a little more serious and it freaks him out! haha He is funny!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

I think we could cope with a Hamster though.....don't take much space, don't need walking etc. They can get smelly though, and not even sure where we would put the cage! Mmmmmm....bit of an issue!
It keeps snowing here, on and off. OH's brother has headed to the airport. Fingers crossed for the flight. Should be OK, it doesn't seem to last long when it does snow, so should be fine.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Sorry to hear your news jedi, have you been on the trying to concieve thread? Some really good info and lots of lovely people who have been in your shoes, like me.
No pad from me today thanks to Tesco:mad:, i have money paid each month on to my cc+ to help me with food budgeting and it normally goes on the 1st. Now with it being new year and all i thought i'd check the money was on my card first, (it was taken from my bank on 29th) the lady at customer services said yes so decided to do a proper shop. You can probably gather the rest. My cc+ card was declined so OH had to run back to the car to get our switch card putting us into our o/d. Was sooo embarassed and angry too. Probably wont be able to pad till wed now.
Well done on clearing your cc matt, i've got one payment left on my natwest cc then thats that one done and dusted. I cant wait.£387.39/£196.46
