    There was me thinking this was a friendly forum. I posted here cos it was the most recent reply email I'd had, had not had this weeks newsletter and couldn't find the relevant forum thread. Apologies for being stupid enough to expect a polite reply!!! :rolleyes:

    I read earlier in this forum that the superdrug offer was for one week only, but our local branch (Bramhall) still had them for £24.99 today (1st August). Used 10% off voucher, no problems.

    I have to say I am delighted with this purchase, especially at this price! Sound quality is quite reasonable - its not a hi-fi but perfectly OK for a clock radio. Reception on DAB is perfect on all channels that I've tried except for one local station which is a bit ropy. Haven't tried FM.

    I was a little wary about buying this - after all you usually get what you pay for. However the itech cube has exceeded my expectations.

    If you need higher quality sound, or an auxiliary input I would suggest you go for the £40 Creative one on Amazon. If you just need a standard radio alarm clock with the added clarity of DAB though, get down to Superdrug for an itech before they're all gone!

    Does anybody know of a really good DAB radio that has a CD player built in too? They seem too few and far between and I want to replace my crackly radio with a new digital one for improved listening, but also want the convenience of having an all in one device that's compact and won't take up lots of room. Any pointers/advice or if you have one, recommendations very welcome? Thanks.

    I got one of these about a year ago. You can split the speakers or just place them together.
    Good sound quality from DAB and the CD, needs a decent aerial position though as the built in aerial is one these strands of wire etc..

    Hi

    I have just bought this radio from the John Lewis site

    http://www.johnlewis.com/Audio+and+TV/DAB+Digital+Radios/By+Price+/++under+_c2_a390+/230218378/Product.aspx

    I used a discount code on the discounts and vouchers forum for £20 off any spend at John Lewis (its currently on the first page)

    Also, I went through quidco for a 4% discount and used my cash back credit card. Therefore total actual cost is £32.21 !!!:money: :money:
    2007 Comping challenge wins so far: April: 1 pair James tickets, May: 1 pair VIP tickets to Knowsley Hall Music Festival, 1 pair Justin Timberlake tickets, lipsy necklace, June: 1 pair cornershop tickets

    Total value won so far: £583!!!! :j :j :j

    Stumbled across this thread via google while looking for reviews on a DAB clock radio I was about to buy on Ebay.

    Cracking find on the John Lewis site, thanks for that. I ditched the Ebay idea and used the promotion code for £20 off.

    It looks like a quality product, and for just over £30......
