* it has an illuminated clock display when the radio is off, the display is negative lcd (the numbers are pale while the background is blue)
* alarm (radio/beep) and snooze
So does the alarm come on as the radio, and then the clock goes off? That is no good as I want to keep an eye on the clock when I wake up and give myself some radio listening time!0 -

No mate the clock is always on, just dims when the radio is off & goes bright when it is on. The alarm can be the radio or a beep; haven't tried the beep but judging by the sound it makes when you set a preset station it will be loud.
If I could give you a demo I would, it really does the job & has a lovely rich sound.desrever sthgir lla0 -

Does anybody know of a really good DAB radio that has a CD player built in too? They seem too few and far between and I want to replace my crackly radio with a new digital one for improved listening, but also want the convenience of having an all in one device that's compact and won't take up lots of room. Any pointers/advice or if you have one, recommendations very welcome? Thanks.0

Also if anyone has any suggestions for a cheap DAB receiver I can hook up to my stereo it'd be much appreciated0

'Just back from Superdrug. Itech cube clock radio on offer 'for one week only' @ £24.99. Grab a 10% voucher from Superdrug's website and you can bag a bargain @ £22.50! I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but at that price, it still is exceptional value!
