Am now off to do the daily routine of scratchies and then I will get in the shower to perk me up and freshen up after housework too.
Really need to put some more things on e-bay this week but as I will be doing a full 6 days this week - is my shift
I'm not sure I'll have the energy.
Hope it's a good Thursday for everyoneCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi everyone - just re-read my last post and remembered how shattered I was last Thursday. back to 5days work this week though and 3 day weekend with bank-hol so Woo! for that:j
I had planned to do a thorough clean of the house on Satday and gather items up for e-bay (none were listed at the weekend) then start in the garden and still have Sunday Monday to achieve what i didn't manage Satday. But I have decided I'd like a bit of time off so today I got home from work and have spent the last 45 minutes dusting the bedrooms - including tops of wardrobes :A and cleaning upstairs windows. I have also selected some ornaments to go in the loft. These are items that I cherich from trips and when I look at them they bring me lots of joy and fond memories. But for the place to look tidier they are being stored away for now. Its all fun-times here :rotfl:
This is a pet hate of mine - having things but not being able to appreciate them but I hope one day to achieve my dream of a bigger home or a second home and they will come out and be dusted off then.
So I have been working and working and doing some MS but no more MS's lined up at the mo.
I have sold 3 books though
I will list my goals for this week / weekend in the next day or so. *involves list 100 items e-bay* - i haven't even found 100 things to put on there yet :rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi all,
In money making news I have today been to my p/t work (very early this morning bleurgh!) But returned home determined to get alot of the housework done before the weekend then I can do the nicer and more awkward
jobs at the weekend and also hopefully enjoy that rare event of free time. I want to hang some pictures and also I have a wall that I have to clean and re-paint.
I have done all my scratchies *whispers* same cannot be said of surveys. I also picked up 2 MS jobs after having nothing lined up - one of which will make a nice date for me and OH
. I have cleaned remaining windows in the house and washed nearly all pot mountain - this will be completed tonight. I also have laundry to move and a fair bit of tidying to do. I'm aiming to have only vacuuming and mopping to do Friday and then over weekend I will be cleaning tops of kitchen cupboards and continue lining inside all of these - am already over half way on this :A
I have also re-listed 9 items on e-bay so thats the easy bit out of the way - another 91 to find, photograph and list but if I spread it out over the 3 days it shouldn't be too daunting.
Happy Wednesday all - off to f/t work now

Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend. I had a very productive day yesterday sorting out lots of niggling jobs that I never usually have time for. But as expected was then completely exhausted today so have had to take it easy. I have sorted out a big bag of rubbish which isn't even suitable for charity
It won't make me any pennies but the house feels a good bit clearer.
I have put just 2 items to one side for e-bay though and will see how I feel tomorrow and try and get listing the bag of things that I have sorted that is *hopefully* sale-able
I have no MS's this weekend and only 1 lined up at the mo. but will keep checking for these. I reached payout on a scratchie

Gah! I just wrote an epic and lost it all so in summary:
I have been rather poorly of late and just to say progress of finding out the problem is being made - i'll be going to the docs for some time as yet - not wanting to post too much info in case anyone i know is reading this
So I intend to post on here more as I am making more money and forgetting to update this. Aims once debt free status is reached: -
Overpay on mortgage - then i can start to look for the dream house
still loads of work to do on this place at the mo.
A once in a lifetime trip - just need to make a shortlist
Try new things
hope everyones having a good weekendCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Good Morning everyone!
Well its monday morning and I'm already looking forward to the weekend ho hum! I'm going to try and post more to help keep me focused and acknowledge all the small things I'm doing to try and pay off the debt whilst improving my home and trying to have a bit of fun too - mse-style of course
So yesterday was free listing on e-bay - I don't have alot of things left to sell really but did manage to put a few items on there so fingers crossed. If these sell it'll be extra money and some clutter gone. I am off to work for overtime today - its the only day o/t is being offered so when I go in I will ask for some next week too if its on offer again. Not looking forward to it but the extra pennies will definitely help
I've also got a MS meal to look forward to with OH so that will be good - wouldn't have been able to just go out for something.
Sadly my o/t will be swallowed up by cooker repair man coming round - i suppose the good thing is that the debt isn't increasing though...
Well off to bank and scratch - hope its a good start to the week for everyoneCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Whereas in pre-LBM years, I bet the o/t would have been spent on something else and the cooker repairs would have increased the debt! So yes, it is a very good thing!!
Enjoy your MS - it has all but dried up round here

Hi hypno - that is so true about money extra money disappearing elsewhere in the past. This is the only MS I have lined up - think its quiet for most people tbh. I just keep looking at the mo.
I have also realised I have been letting slide some of my regular (ish) surveys so I am now going to get up earlier Thursday and Friday to ensure these are done if they are in my inbox and if not I can do some housework *or potter around on here*. The rest of the week is fine its just at the end of the week that I struggle.
Also, I have posted previously that I have purchased all my smaller gifts for OH this year - all in fab 75% - 90% off sales. i was on the grabbit board and saw something for him that was £4 and decided not to buy it. A) He doesn't need it
I have bought him enough so that means I've saved £4 I'd often think "its only £4" - but that £4 could be paid off my credit card and reduce the interest  I'm paying. Also didn't splurge on shopping last week - £27 spent and that included a magazine and a replacement utensil - will attempt to beat amount that this week too. Have a very busy day lined up tomorrow - p/t work, f/t work and hopefully 2 MS's just waiting for confirmation. Yikes! I'm tired already. Additional payment made to credit card - target 1 - this is from p/t earnings.
Listed a couple more 99p start price items on e-bay and added a book to sell on my greenmet a/c. Also took packed lunch to work.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi all, Well after a good few days run of feeling 90% well the exhaustion has now struck and i am fairly tired. Or maybe its just real tiredness? - Rather than the ill kind i get. I did not have a good nights sleep - one of those where my mind was running away with itself on what i want to do on the house here and thinking about how, when i bought this place, i could have afforded to pay nearly double my mortgage each month if i was careful and then I was made redundant and now I feel I'm just trying to catch up all the time - Bleurgh! credit card bill swallowing up huge amounts in interest

Oh well I am where I am and I need to just focus on repaying all credit bills as fast as possible - Cooker is now up and running and my purse is £150 lighter - or there abouts  That money would have been a great amount to pay off my card bill.
Ok, positive news
Today i have paid some more money off my credit card - this was from book sales and the funds have just cleared so these have been transferred over to my account. I am going to do my scratchies, make my packed lunch and check again on the possibility of any overtime.
Oh yes, I have no time this week to do a big food shop so hopefully just essentials from local shops should keep the cost down - £2.04 so far on milk and bread. Lets see how I go on today - think i need bananas and toothpaste...CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
