  • Gah! Just did a post and lost it ?? hope its not inadvertently landed on someone elses thread :o Well post consisted of some of the following updates - having been as tired as a tired thing can be of late I had a lie in today - still was up and ready and on 3rd cup of coffee by 10.30 :D

Thus far today I have done a load of washing, dryed and moved and have cleaned the kitchen. I have also moved onto decluttering phase 2! This means I have started on the 2nd bedroom but sadly as there isn't much in there I don't think I'll find alot - if anything - for e-bay. Have decided to declutter the wardrobes again - I have no room in my sig for this but I am challenging myself to get rid of 50 items . I really need to be ruthless! Trouble is I have clothes which I don't wear too often like for weddings and christenings and as we should have a few invites to some soon it seems silly to sell these and then have to buy something to replace it with...

Also checked jobs site and there is 1 I want but is only p/t which I can no way afford to do :(

In Other News I'm really going to push to get the house organised and clutter free and that way OH and me will be happier and it will be easier to get a job done when we need to - such as if I want a hand in the garden then with a clean and tidy house it'll be easier to get on with - if that makes sense?

I'm also going to try and restrain myself with the food shopping - freezer is full as is the larder so I'm going to try and focus on us using some of these up first. Watch the grocery sig in March ;)

In Money News - I have listed a book on greenmet and done an MS *off to update sig*

Well a late update from me for today - went for lunch with my friend today - was a tad on the pricey side - spent £14  but was really good to catch up and we only see each other about 3 times a year. Still this has made me even more determined to source some extra pennies! It would be lovely to go out and not be in a panic as to whether I can afford it or not (chose the cheapest item on the menu) and I am just soo down all the time with the worry over making ends meet. So on a positive note I will tackle this debt!

My clothes challenge has slowly started (been working ALL day) 1/50 so will list these things at the weekend when I've a few more items to put on.
I will also declutter more items - I have a bag of 5 things already for e-bay now :D The other things I can do are the usual - surveys when they come along, MS's that I can try and pick up.

I never really get to make money through cashback as other than food shopping I don't buy anything. I am now very consciously tring to cut down on food shopping as I said I have plenty in at the mo. I am also trying to pick up extra shifts at work but there doesn't seem to be anything available...

Off to bed and for a quick peek in the wardrobe for another e-bay item!

Gosh it just feels like I'm poorly all the time these days. Had started the day on a cheerily positive note 1 p/t job done, 1 MS done & part way through f/t working day and in no fit state to attempt another rather complicated MS as illness struck :( Bleuh!

Today is now moving at a more sedate pace as I have only 1 small errand to run and then f/t work. Though I have to do the report for yesterdays MS still

The money update I wanted to post was:

£20 - MS and Scratchie withdrawal

All spends have been noted down in my little spending diary :D

I have not managed to alter my overdraft sig lately but I am hoping to actually clear this by MAY :D So lots of money making and budgeteering are underway - I will keep posting each bit as I go along. I have also requested some overtime for work - nothing available as yet but we will see *off to update sig*

3/50 on the e-bay clothes challenge

Tomorrow I am off work as I will be working my shifts all weekend :( but this means I have now got no less than 5 :T MS's lined up for tomorrow and a little p/t shift too. So when I get home tonight I aim to have selected at least another 7 items from my wardrobe for e-bay taking it into double figures of 10/10 for e-bay clothes which I will then list when I'm back from work on Sunday! Need to do this as I definitely need the pennies now. Have a good Wednesday!

Thanks F_F, PM duly sent :D

I have decided to start each day with a brekkie - I'm trying to look after myself a bit more - it will mean getting up earlier each day but I should start to feel better for it.

I am going to go and find the other 7 items to stock up on clothes for sale. Nothing else to report today.

Good luck with your 5 Ms's today - I have 5 lined up for Saturday, am ever so slightly dreading it! Haven't done that many in one day before!

Hi Kayleighpea - it wasn't soo bad to be honest - although I still haven't written all the reports :o - but thats partly due to the fact that I did end up running a few unexpected errands for other people which i think inevitably happens when I have always said yes to things and I perhaps should explain more explicitly that a day off (f/t) work isn't a day of complete relaxation when there's a-money-making to be done :D

I always make notes after jobs too to keep track and quickly re-read the notes beforehand also. Some of my jobs ended up being an hour long each too

Still a drum roll for the money news please...

p/t work, scratchies withdrawal and MS's £41.50 + 2 presents purchased :j - one of these days I'll treat myself to something. Back on the MS bandwagon tomorrow

F_F a million thanks to you and your kind mum for the codes :T vouchers are in the envelope and i'm looking for the stamps now...

Confession is simply that I've not had the chance to lift out more e-bay things - is it sad that i was really looking forward to doing this? AND everything I spent today was essential except for 1 item :o a £1 pack of choccy. must..try..harder.. i always budget for treats anyway otherwise i'd just end up spending more at the local shop but these choccys were even extra to this.

**off to update sig** have a good friday all

I wouldn't worry about the Ebaying - sounds like you have been rushed off your feet! I have quite a few things that need ebaying, and I think it's just pure laziness that I haven't done it yet!

Yeah I always tend to make notes on my mobile as I go along because it just looks like texting. But on Saturday I'll be on trains to go from place to place so at least I get some time in between to write up some proper notes, hopefully I'll have written up the majority of the reports by the time I get home and it'll all be about copying the info over!

Hi Kayleighpea - its always good to get home and have notes all written out - i find it's quicker then too. Good Luck for tomorrow - hope it all goes smoothly for you.

BIG NEWS ALERT at least for me anyways *check out my sig* I received a cheque in the post for tax rebate :j so I will visit the bank tomorrow and pop this in but this means I have now calculated that if I can make an extra £500 this month The Dreaded Overdraft will be gone and I'll then just have to select a different creditor to tackle. :(

So a 26day challenge of making an extra £500 - thing is my p/t work and some of my MS's cover some living costs so I think I need to really only spend what is absolutely necessary so NSD today. :D I can do this - got to be positive and all that. I won't be adding this amount to money made as I have not made it outside of work which is what I really want to keep track of.

    Have a fun weekend all
