Work has finished for the day except for all the usual housework, MS to do etc. etc. Kayleighpea - hope all went well on your MS's yesterday

So - finally i will commence with the wardrobe inventory. first i will tot up the skirts and jumpers/woolly items I have and then try and part with some... I have however just been naughty and spotted a jumper i really, really, really want bnwt on e-bay, i have put it in my watching items and just need to rummage up the will power not to purchase it - lovely though it is the debt means I really do not have the money to buy it - or anything else for that matter...
Right off to attempt a more spacious wardrobe - update to follow :cool:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
1 load of washing done and moved, 2nd load is spinning around merrily. Have popped to Mr S's today for my free energy saving plug
and picked up some of the 30p offers too.
The Wardrobe inventory begins:
15 jumpers / woolly top type things. I don't think I can part with any of these - for one thing its always cold and the jumpers are all different styles - 2 for evening, some smart non-work for the rare days out, a couple of formal ones for work and a few 'i'm putting warm woolly-pully on instead of the heating' ones
Now skirts are entirely different kettle of fish:
30 skirts - after i've lifted a few out for sale, gah! ok the sub categories are:
3 long skirts 1 evening, 1 christening outfit, 1 gift i'll keep forever
1 knee-length going out skirt - of the fab goes with anything style
1 knee-length work skirt
2 summer skirts knee-length
2 summer skirts shorter
11 skirts forming parts of outfits, 7 for summer, 3 evening -1 i'll never part with and 1 part of going to a wedding outfit
2 keep forever skirts
2 winter skirts
5 denim skirts
1 going out skirt
As these are all still things I wear at one time or another I'm very reluctant to part with any of them but 30 skirts really does seem excessive...
Must not buy jumper... must not buy jumper...
e-bay challenge 7/50CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Urgh Monday! Roll on the weekend lol. Well yesterday I listed 10 items on e-bay though the clothing challenge still stands at 7/50 there were a few other bits I was happy to list at 99p - I'm waiting for free listing day for the stuff I want a bit more for  2 of my items have watchers so fingers crossed.
Wardrobe Inventory Continued:
9 cardigans - a mixture of cardi's and the thicker ones which can be worn instead of a jacket
9 jackets - evening wear, casual wear, summer and winter
3 shorts
Hmm - some of the jackets were gifts at xmas and are of the style that I can keep forever - I don't see me parting with any of these. Out of the cardi's there is 1 i'm considering parting with but I do tend to throw this on alot as an extra layer to keep warm and it is quite smart...
I will continue with a tops inventory next.
Completed a MS yesterday so will update sig. Also carried myself off to Mr S for the free energy saving plug and got some happy 30p items from there too.
I resisted the jumper but it has been re-listed :whistle:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Dedicated,
Congrats on the tax rebate! It sounds like you are doing really well, and you're definitely shaming me into sorting out the piles of stuff I need to put on Ebay!
My Ms'ing day on Saturday was a total disater
Sodding public transport cocked it all up for me so ended up only doing 1!! Thankfully have managed to rearrange 2 of them for this Saturday but the rest are lost
2019 will be my year!!0 -
Well I've just got in a mere 2 hours and 20 minutes after I finished work - Kayleighpea I agree public transport can really scupper the best of plans. I have to travel to work and is only minimum wage but spend so much time getting to and fro
. Glad you managed to re-arrange a couple of your shops though.
I haven't got any new MS's at the mo. and still just the two items being watched on e-bay.
So plans are to scout around for any new MS's I can find  and list more things on e-bay - I do feel this will be Satday though as I am tired getting in so late now and have to organise some more items to list.
Night all xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Why is it that everything seems to be 1 step forwards and 2 steps back. After being so tired due to my late arrival home last night I got up very tired this morning and went to my p/t shift - only to arrive there and find I wasn't needed today. To be fair I knew this could happen at times but I am really relying on the money and the journey and everything seemed such a waste of time. Came back home to an astronomical insurance quote - the thing is this has increased each year (for no apparent reason other than premiums can go up). I DID shop around last year and spent a good few hours trying to get a better quote and there were none out there. Maybe its time to look at something else?
No new MS's obtained still only 2 items on e-bay with a watcher each but every bit will help
Definitely tackling the tops tonight my ebay clothes challenge still stands at 7/50 and there has to be more to go! 1 pair of jeans will be going but I'm giving myself 4weeks to lose weight before knowing which one it'll be :rotfl:
Food shopping done and should be in budget - especially if I can stay away from any supermarkets for the rest of the week!
Positives are its Tuesday - soon be Wednesday the happy middle of the week and then Friday Yaaaayyy! I've applied for another 2 MS's so fingers crossed on those. I've also got a few items that I want more than £1 for to list on e-bay and am just awaiting free listings. In fact I will list 2 further 99p goodies tonight! (you can all quote this to me now
)
Also, 1 MS to do today and a wedding invite received - definitely need to lose weight to get in the dress I'm going to wear

I know that feeling!! The important thing to remember is that without those steps forward you would just keep going further and further back! :rotfl:2019 will be my year!!0 -
Am definitely off to bed now for some much needed sleep and after work on Satday I'll be doing a thorough house clean and then alot more rest. Today has just been a yucky yucky day where i've struggled to find the positives so I am hoping to go to bed and get up tomorrow and all will at least seem better after i've slept on it.
Hi Kayleighpea and thanks for your kind words of support - they have given me my first smile of the day

Hi All! E-bay checked 3 items with a watcher each but if they sell its all good as it will be money i didn't have before and a bit less clutter. Just done a p/t shift and now preparing for f/t work so can update my sig with my extra income for the day
Sadly no MS's are about so I still have nothing lined up from there.
Want to try and get in the garden this weekend but it will all depend on the weather - it is decidedly frosty here today.CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Yay!!!!! for the weekend :j Now I just need to find some energy so my time does not disappear with nothing achieved. So far so good 1 MS and 1 p/t shift done. Have had to spend a partly unexpected £50 today though - urgh! Mothers Day Gift and I dropped and broke my iron and needed to replace this. *clumsy*
So plans for today freebie stuff and finding some more items for e-bay - only 4 items without watchers so fingers crossed for some sales - even if they go at just £1 they'll be gone and its extra money i desperately need just now. Oh and cleaning - have done the upstairs and about to start pots mountain. 1 wash spinning away. I think i'll be tackling the kitchen more slowly with regular computer and tv breaks - it is saturday after allCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
