    Morning all
Cold & frosty here today, but I think it will be sunny.
DS didn't turn up with his washing, so he'll probably be round today with it.
I may make some soap today, it depends on what hubby want's to do.
I shall also finish a couple more crochet 8inch squares & make a weeks worth of sarnies for pack ups for next week. I think we get a free lunch on the first day back, but will take a pack up just in case I'm wrong. I'm already getting messages asking when I'm back as my intray is filling up, what joy.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

We have snow again here so my Mum isn't coming down as their cul de sac is very difficult to get out of now with snow on top of glassy ice  At least the children will be happy as they can build another snowman.

I have never known it to last so long.

    Morning All

Sunny here but very cold, still have some snow left from yesterday.

Had a lovely day in London New Years Day - was definately a good way to start the year. There was no traffic so the drive there and back was blissfull. Chinese was lovely as usual and managed to partake in a couple of starbucks (purely to keep warm :rotfl:) did loads of walking so had a slow start this morning.

Today, hmnn think the thing on top of my to do list is ironing, also plan to menu plan for next week and do online shop. Will be looking at including 2 days a week fish now - especially for OH but will all enjoy it too. Lots of chicken too. Anyway think will sit down with the whole family later to do that. House needs just a quick tidy - we have already put the decorations away so looks a lot tidier already.

Have some Argos vouchers, may go tomorrow and buy some storage boxes, DD & I have decided to make a scrapbook of Xmas and New Year - we have picked up a few bits already. Also the Argos I will go to is right near a Hobbycraft :jso can pick up some more bits - then will have lovely boxes to store them in. That also fits in nicely with my plan to be more 'crafty' this year.

Anyway enough of that, off now to enjoy the day. Have a great Satuday.x

    Good morning,

Today I will be mostly cleaning and ironing. Our front room looks like a bomb has gone off in a plastic toy factory, with added biscuit crumbs. Grumpy the house elf is wearing his fairy costume, so the cat has had to be shut out of the front room as she want's the pink fluffy fairy wand more than anything in the whole world, and understandably the house elf is not willing to part with it.

I am also hoping that Sunnygirl's snow is not headed in this direction. We didn't even have frost last night, but that's never going to last is it? I still have a stash of hm ready meals in the freezer, so I think I may defrost some spag bol for dinner. It's quick and easy and it's one of the elf's favourite meals.

    Take care all of you.

Please do not start a new Daily Thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two Dailys' live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new Daily Thread after they get up in the morning.

Good morning everyone, thought I might as well bite the bullet and start the thread, as I'm off to work and wanted to say hi to you all, and wish you a good day. It won't be as nice a thread starter as Diva's or as funny as zippychick's, but I'm sure you will all add your own usual amusing musing on OS life!

Thank you for starting the thread Jackie. Im just about to start clearing a few hotspots and work through my storecupboards to see what Im missing. Am trying to do the storecupboard challenge this month so need to know what Ive got in so I can menu plan.

    Have a great day everyone.

(p.s. Jackie, any news on that red apron? ;))

Morning Chums blooming freezing here in North Kent with more of the white stuff forecast for tomorrow.I have been very busy de-cluttering and have got most of the dekkies down apart from the ceiling ones which DD will get down for me .Just posted a query about stuff to use up in my fridge and had three gret answers which I shall use at lunchtime.I want to try and use up as much as I can before buying in and more food.So I will have some strange combinations of meals this month. But my purse will feel the benifit.
Right off to do some more shredding of old papers Hope everyone has a great day, take care and keep wrapped up warm if you are going out
    Cheers JackieO x
  • Well it's absolutely freezing here today.

Hopefully a bit of decluttering and sorting of stuff in the bedroom before the boys get back.

At this time of year I am always lost with what to cook so am going to give some websites a little look and try planning my menu.

Hope you all have a fantastic day x
Although I get lonely  as a single mother there are always two smiling angels ready to give me the biggest hug in the world. Love you babies :grouphug:
