Did you put down the loan that your dad is paying on there? If so your deficit is only £122 so I would urge you to speak to one of the debt charities like CCCS, CAB or National Debtline. You can find their contact details in TigerFeet's signature. They will go through all your options with you. You have relatively good salary, you could clear that debt without resorting to bankruptcy. That will leave other options open to you later in life. Its worth exploring anyway.

hello, no i didnt include dads loan.
I have spoken to 2 debt charities, payplan they said bankruptsys best, i would be paying a DMP for 7 years.. and i know full well its just another form of consolodation, which will not leave me much to live on.. which in turn will make me take out more credit (if possible!! ) to live on , continuing the same path I have trodden for 12 years.. for which i just need to be released from. :(

    Don't you pay gas/elec/water/council tax?

I don't pay these currently as I am in keyworker accomodation.. its all included. Theres no way I could live in a normal rented flat in london with all those bills.... I would be looking at £700 plus bills :(
And if I move out of london with my type of job I would be taking a 10k pay cut at least :(

could i put anymore than £100 for petrol? i walk to work usually so i guess they would say i dont need the car. However I use the car to visit my family who are several hundred miles away, twice a month, my actual petrol is probably more like £170 TBH.
