Felt a bit sad and rough all day.

    :grouphug:
At the end of the day, it's his life, his decisions and I have to perhaps try to stop pushing the MSE way of life onto him that he has to fight/get a job/budget hard/push every penny until it squeaks if that isn't what he wants to do. Maybe a fresh start for him (albeit a move to his Mums house) will be a release rather than him seeing it as a failure.

He needs to have his own LBM - you can't have it for him.

We met in a pub. I was with my ex and I was kind of swept off my feet a bit. We knew each other for about 3 months before we actually got together. My relationship with my ex was almost at breaking point for various reasons and my now OH was a bit of knight in shining armour and gave me the confidence to end the relationship a couple of months later.

Didn't quite work though that he stayed being a knight in shining armour.

Considering he was a knight in shining armour for his own selfish reasons.

Would he have been a knight content to direct the maiden into the arms of another? No...not quite...

I wish I could come and just hug you and let you cry......I think you need to get it all out of your system.

You need to stop thinking of other people and put yourself first, cos you never have, and you should because, to coin a phrase, you ARE worth it. Only I dont think you believe that:cool:

  • thankyou luvverly peeps (and although I don't do hugs- one for jinks cos she knows I don't do them ;) )

My prayer was answered....not only did I have an observation for my teaching qual - a second person turned up for my unnanounced observation!!

I've never demonstrated how to joint a chicken before in front of a dozen people.....good job it all went to plan !!!!!! I was really pleased with how it went. I am really keeping my fingers crossed for a good grade.

I was really pleased. We have a grading system the same as ofsted 1/2/3/4. Nobody has yet got a 1 this academic year, there have been about half a dozen 2 grades, mostly 3 grades and about half a dozen 4 grades. I got a 3 last year but was told it was nearly a 2. I was a bit miffed as it was on a tiny point. I've worked bloody hard on my paperwork and teaching and I've decided if all that effort still only gets me a 3, I will just quit. However, I think I will get a 2 and I'd love to dream of the holy grail of a 1 but I doubt it will happen.

I will get verbal feedback this week but the grades aren't given. However I get to see all the reports once a term as part of my morning job so I'll see the grade on it then when it goes for moderation ;)

I got the feedback from my CTLLS tutor (the teaching qual) and it was 'excellent' :o all the way through and there weren't any areas for development - none! I nearly keeled over!

My knee was horrifically painful when I got back, I could only just straighten it and it was shaking when I got to about 80% stretched out. It's on the inner left of my right knee and I have a small bruise there where I've been pushing the area to try to massage out the pain.

naughty girl - bought my lunch from the shop yesterday and today as just so busy with work and the late hours. Bought a (reduced!) loaf from the shop so when I get in later tonight I can do some tuna mayo sandwiches for tomorrow.

Ordered my first ever graze box and used a code for the free one. i'll have that and the half price one delivered and then cancel. I can't see it being something I'll be over excited about as I don't eat nuts and I 'binned' loads of choices off my list of possibles where they were either nuts/coated nuts/nuts mixed in with other stuff.

Better shoot as I have an exam to set up and invigilate until 8.45.
