Gotta to be the most disruptive job going. You may lose the will to live at some point:rotfl: but it's perfectly normal:D Hopefully, it'll be all worth it in the end:T0 -
We have had another unexpected expense on the kitchen front. There is a thief in our mists, he is known to us, but there is a saying that goes 'don't sh*t on your own doorstep. However this little blighter doesn't seem to have heard of this.......he is our dog who will be known from know on as sh*t features!! Silly me thought if the weather was good he would be fine tied up on a long lead in the garden where he would be able to see what was going on and have company all day (which is more than he gets most days), oh no, this does not suit sh*t features, he decided that he would whine, bark and generally steal any tools, bits of wood etc, that he could get his paws and jaws on. The neighbours and the kitchen fitter have had enough, so rather than have him walk out and the neighbours selling up, we have put sh*t features in kennels This costs £11.20 per day:mad: The thing is, he probably thinks he's on holiday there, constant attention, as much barking as he can muster, comfy bed, food on demand and three walks daily...hmm I wonder....do they take humans too??? Goodness me for one short moment I was feeling guilty for putting him there!:o
Managed to blag a cooked dinner today, roast chicken and all the trimmings. Have found out that Waitrose do a lovely selection of 'fresh' soups. The Thai chicken is gorgeous I would recommend it to all, very tasty without being spicy, yum yum bubble gum!! Not so sure about the 'innocent' vegetable pots, 3 portions of fruit and veg in each pot, last night we had a Thai concoction and a wild mushroom risotto, the Thai was blugh but the mushroom was ok (once I had added copious amounts of salt (blooming healthy meals:mad:)
I have completed writing up and sending the files of my recorded mystery shop, just have to return the Dictaphone now…oh I really really hope it is right!
I have a manic day tomorrow which includes six mystery shops, one where I have to reveal myself  then I have to go to the builders merchant and pick up essential bits and pieces for the kitchen (best not do too much revealing there or I might get arrested:p)
Phew, enough of my moaning, i'm off to have a nosey at everyone elses diaries now.

Lol I've had the mushroom one before - I thought it was too salty! I won't eat most ready meals though as all they taste of is salt. Glad the kitchen is finally getting sorted.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah but when you have no kitchen, ready meals, take aways or beg a meal (AKA puppy dog eyes makes a family member cook for us!) is has to be.

Lol no I meant I find them too salty - Innocent are one of the few I buy as I find they taste about right - if they added more salt to them I'd never buy them at all!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Aw, what a fun day, have returned home from an exciting day of mystery shopping to find the kitchen fitter did not know where the coffee was and has been thirsty all day:eek: This is not a good way to treat workmen:o He is not a happy chappy and i'm not sure the plastering is helping his mood either, now me, I've always been quite good at getting plastered!:rotfl:
Todays mystery shop entailed eating chicken in my car (drive [STRIKE]away[/STRIKE] through, looking at mobile phones, booking a holiday (not a wise move at the moment!), browsing new cookers and having a lovely cup of coffee and a muffin! This is going to sound really daft, but I cancelled one as it was out of my area and I just had a bad feeling about it (see told you [STRIKE]it [/STRIKE]I was strange)
Am still undecided about the kettle..no change there then. And I have a horrible feeling the kitchen is going to take a LOT longer than first anticipated:eek:.
I have to say it is very strange without the dog here and quiet, although the cat now thinks she is queen bee and keeps prancing around with her tail in the air, she is going to have a shock when he returns, I think puddy cat thinks sh*t features has been to vets to have a 'big needle', little does she know he is set to return and make her life hell again shortly.:rotfl:
Oh, well best get on with writting up my MS reports.

I am a tired bunny today, have been yawning ever since I got up! I think hubby is going to get a sharp elbow to the ribs if he snores tonight.
Started the day trying to go to the toilet quietly as the kitchen is directly below it and the kitchen chap arrived before I surfaced toady! Why is it the quieter you try to be the louder you actually get?? I blew my nose and felt like shouting down…..that wasn’t my bum you know!!:rotfl:
It's been a funny day, had a meeting/training course all day, managed to pick up a food MS (always good when there’s no kitchen) then onto second job which finished earlier than expected :j
Tonight I have managed to pick up seven mystery shops for a week Saturday all from the same company doing the same sort of job just in different locations. lets hope I get the first one right or it could be a disastrous day.
Well off to do a bit of diary noseying. Hope you are all well.:)

Wow - you don't ease up any do you? 7 MS in one day.
It feels like your kitchen work has been going on ages. It must feel even longer when it is you it is happening to.No what you mean about quiet weeing. I am a strange bod who doesn't like using public bathrooms as i get shy bladder and can't go. I'm not as bad as i was when i was younger though. I am dreading our bathroom being done. No idea what we will end up doing, but i bet it involves using DS's potty or toilet seat.

Kitchen only really been going on for a week and half, but my moaning has been going on for much longer!
Today I am happy:D, most of the kitchen units have been put together and i'm feeling ore positive that things are moving in the right direction.
I have bagged loads of MSs for this weekend and next, am happy about that too:D, they will help pay towards SF's kennel fees.
I'm cold, not had the heating on for a week or so due to the nice weather but the temerature seems to drop dramatically at night, have been going to bed in fluffy socks and long jimmy jams:o

I know the feeling TPA, but fortunately my carcasses were rigid (oooeeerr missus) so progress has been a bit quicker. Sparkly worktops on, am in lurvvvvveA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
