I am going a bit old fashioned and am thinking of buying one of these: http://www.dawsonsdepartmentstore.co.uk/ecookshop/product.asp?pid=920012&m=5&d= They do them in lots of colours..on Amazon I could get the grey one for £35...hmm, decisions, decisions..

Slow cookers are cheap as chips to run, I worked it out once......from a very bad memory..I think it was one unit for eight hours..so about 15p or so.
GG surely my new kettle will be cheaper to boil on gas rather than a normal electric one? (or were you teasing me??)
I am really struggling today, fell like poo, house is a mess, i'm doing paper work in work and cannot get my head around anything that needs an ounce of brain cell.

Was teasing, but actually if it's really heavy it may be expensive - the Le Creuset take ages to heat up (or at least my supermarket version does :rotfl:)A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Afternoon all, isn't the weather fabulous?! I am loving it.:D
Did a very exciting mystery shop today where I had to secretly record what I was doing, I was so nervous..hopefully it will be worth the stress:)
I am all of a dither re the house at the moment, don't know whether I coming or going, seem to be spending most of my time escaping the masses of dust or traveling back and forth between my house and the parentals! Why on earth did I say i wanted a new kitchen?
Still undecided on the kettle, its more a cost thing....if todays mystery shop pays it will more than cover the cost so perhaps I will wait and see what happens.
Talking of mystery shops I have 1 booked for tomorrow 6 for Monday, 1 for Tuesday and a couple of odd ones here and there.
Off to find another microwave meal to hae for tea tonight and have a feeling I might indulge in glass or two of wine (first for over a week:eek:)
