The lesson went really well thanks Wendz! I didn't stall once which I was impressed with :D It's a little blue Clio my Dad has picked out for me, 2005 or something!

Exciting about your new car! What kind of car is it? I'd be itching to pick it up too!

ETA: That's amazing news CMD!! :D The baby savings are looking great already too. (You do so well with money!)

Well you have done brilliantly so far so anything is possible! Although will be hard once the baby is there obviously.

Yeah, I think I will just have to wait and see how much I can afford to pay off every month once the baby comes along. The main thing is that we will have enough savings so we won't have to worry about money when I am off on maternity leave :)

Morning Tete, thanks, I actually got my cake yesterday when my grandparents were here (Colin the caterpillar from M&S!), just ate his foot while waiting for my quorn sausages to be ready for breakfast.

Knee is the same really. New theory on whats up with it from a doctor friend of ours. He thinks the inside of the kneecap is rough, usually this develops in teenagers though so its a bit wierd to happen to me. We'll see when I go for the MRI I guess!

Went to see the house again yesterday, and we're going to make an offer. However we need to speak to NIMs dad first and our morgage advisor really before we start things off. I have to admit to being a bit nervous, she seems to be selling on a bit of a whim, so I'm wondering if she'd be likely to back out.

I'm really pleased for you CMD, you've done so well!

Some exciting car news too from you girls! When are you picking up your Focus Wendz? I really really want a new pink Focus, but OH isn't too keen! Glad your lesson went well Cinny, when's the next one? I love the name Greg for a car! My first car was a black Saxo called Suzy, she was lovely! (until bits started falling off her...) My 2 cars since her haven't really had names; nothing felt right, I don't think I bonded with them!

I'm glad you enjoyed celebrating the end of your exams Tink, £15 is good for a night out considering you were buying other people drinks too! I went out with a few friends on Saturday night so woke up yesterday feeling a little tender which wasn't good as I went to the wedding dress sale at a dress shop in Silsden and it was manic! We got there 10 minutes after the shop opened and it was packed, there's only one dress of each style there so women were walking around with about 6 dresses piled up in their arms in case someone stole 'their' dress! I tried a few on and had to share a changing room with another girl who was trying on all the dresses I liked, my Mum kept asking for her rejects! I was very annoyed as the one dress that might have been right was the one that this girl liked the most and kept putting back on so I couldn't try it! I convinced myself that it wouldn't have been The One though so I left it!

ETA: I didn't realise it was your birthday Dinah! :bdaycake: Happy Birthday!

Exciting stuff about the house too! I hope that the woman doesn't back out!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • Yuck Birdie that environment doesn't sound conducive to finding your perfect dress! I wouldn't worry, I'm sure you'll find a perfect one without all that kind of stress around you!

Rough kneecap, lovely! What can they do, take it out, sand it down and pop it back in?! Why do you think she's selling on a whim?
